Remembering the golden wedding

Today is my parents 58th wedding anniversary, Tatay will celebrate it in heaven though. The last celebration they had together was in 2013-their 55th. I am grateful how their marriage stood the test of time, the many trials (including the long wait for a child- they had my eldest sister after 10 years) the hardship of rearing 4 children, sending us to school and a lot more.

I am thankful we were aBle to celebrate their 50th last 2008.

I am missing them both.

She's 6 months now and she's quiet and behave (when sleeping). I never though I'll enjoy being a pet parent but yes I am loving this cutie so much! Today, my husband gave her a bath and clipped her nails :)

She eagerly awaits for us and very excited when we go home at night, she even knows the sounds of our motorbike!

In ear monitors

"I work as a musician in our church. my job is to study and learn new songs from other church like Hillsong, Planetshakers and many christian band from different part of the  world. its good to play along with their tracks. using my headphone. one time i made a backing track from one of the Planetshakers song in our worship service. while playing along, it's hard for my brother to catch up the beat because we don't have monitor in front so we could hear the backing track clearly, so what did I let my brother used my earphone so he can go with beat. I notice from concerts I watched, the musicians or singers wear in ear monitors so that they can hear themselves and the other musicians clearly without the speaker monitor.

I wish we could have one for our church someday. "

Major CHANGE

Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last decent update on what's going on in our lives and I have so many things to post, have to remember to make separate blog post for Christmas and New year celebration and of course or gift giving activity in Aurora.

But for now, I'm letting you all know that a major change in our life is coming in the next few months. We were told early of this month that the building where we live (which happens to be a very old building owned by our company) will now be taken down and then they will rebuild a new one. That means, we have to vacate the place and we were given at least 6 months to look for another place to live.

So these days, we were in the hunt again for a new place, which made my husband  excited because finally in he is putting up his home music studio soon in this new place. Now, he is slowly completing his stuff, he bought new computer last December specifically designed for recording and also his musical instrument accessories, hopefully this month he'll be able to buy the audio interface.

I know, it will be totally different and new again for us, moving is not easy, packing and unpacking things is crazy and pure headache but I try to be as excited as my husband, change is inevitable and we have to embrace it whether we like it or not.

The only major concern for me now is to be able to find that perfect place for us, one that suits our needs and of course suits our budget.

New year, new place, new beginnings :)
