Just Hello :)

 Oh hi there!

Anyone still blogging these days? Wala na yata lahat ng pina follow ko na blog. But I'll check later. meanwhile, this blog has been up since 2005, of course madaming years na wala akong mga posts because you know life happens. But still buhay pa naman ang blog. haha!

Most of the people now are on social media sites. Ako rin, I have set up a family/parenting blogsite in facebook, so if you want more updates about us, you can follow me there. Here's our page link :)

Meanwhile, I don't want to lose this site for so many sentimental reasons so as long as blogger is there, this blog will stay.

I just have to figure out how can I update from my mobile phone so posting will be easier. Not so techy and tita problems :( But yes, I'll figure that out soon.

Anyways, this blog has been neglected and I have already given up the domain name.

I don't know what it  got me resurrecting this blog, maybe I miss the old way of blogging, maybe I needed a respite from my work.

Or maybe I don't really know.

But let's see. For the meantime, I am revising old posts. Some posts I cringe..haha :)

But some posts made me look back to very good memories.

And thankful I have this blog to remind me of those.

My son is now 4 months old!

Sharing with you our pictures yesterday. Thank God for holidays :)  Because there was no work yesterday we were able to go to park just before sunset.

This particular picture melts my heart- My husband holding our very own son. I will forever be grateful for these new experiences.

Campfire Burgers and more

We chance upon this cute burger house one Saturday last December when I attended a business workshop near that area. The look is inviting so we tried :)

This is for the husband, he ordered "double decker". You can refer to the menu below for what's in there :)

And that burger with fries is mine :0 This is their "double decker". I enjoyed my burger, hubs said he still prefers our favorite "Blazing burger" which is a stone throw away from our house.

if you are near the area, go on and try this place, it won't probably hurt your budget and besides the ambiance is nice! I wish to go back also and try their other burgers :)

First time

In the Emergency Room of Makati Medical Center. Thankfully, it is not that bad. I was discharged 4 hours later.

It happened last Saturday, February 11. Severe headache and nausea. I can't even get up from the bed that morning, I was scared I might fall if I tried to do so. Sad thing is, I was alone in the house with my toddler nephew. Praise God for mobile internet and facebook messenger. I was able to send messages and it reached my husband. He came home rushing and we immediately went to the ER. 

Also, I am praising God of our emergency card (provided by our office) it was a BIG help. I paid nothing. Thank you Lord talaga.

Now, the verdict is "Migraine Headache". I was advised by the doctor to rest for a few days and then to consult with Neurologist. I didn't know migraine can be that bad.

My husband took this picture and posted it on Facebook with  a caption " This is our date" :)

He was probably thinking we  did not go out for a dinner on my birthday which was last February 8 and Valentines day is coming also :) so yes, that was a date for him.

But wait, just today, we had lunch together at our favorite neighbor restaurant. It was a quick lunch but I considered it a date (at least not in the hospital bed) 

Here we are celebrating life and love after that scary trip to ER.

Finally an update

Yay! it's  actually end of the month and only my 2nd post.  Thankful that I am was able to squeeze it today.

I don't know how I am going to rate my January because there is one major heartache happened to our family.

My mothers youngest sister aged 63 years old went home with the Lord last January 16.  It was so sudden, and we were all sad. I immediately went home to be with my Nanay, we went straight to my Aunt's house which is one and a half hour away from our house in the province. My Aunt who permanently resides in the US went home also and it was a very sad reunion for them. 

The good thing with a death in the family ( yes we have to find good even in the worst situation) is that we get to see almost all of our relatives and somehow it eases the pain. It was also at this time that they started to plan for a yearly family reunion. Looking forward to our first ever family reunion this December, another reason to be excited for the holidays.

Our Uber operations (naks!) meaning hubs source of living was affected for two weeks because of this, but that's ok. My principle always is that "family comes first" and "we can never out give God". We lost some income but I am hopeful we can recover in due time.

Work is even crazier than last year, I was given more loads this year. I actually declined the job offer but my boss did not accept it. So for now, I am learning new things, trying my best and surviving. Thank God. :)

We have also started the work for the annual youth mission camp this year, this work makes me excited and happy. I am amazed at how creative our youth officers are. This year will be another major experience for our camp attendees and I'm sure they are in for a big surprise.

well, that's it for now. I have yet to post our new years picture in Baguio, l hope I can make another post before my birthday this February :)

Hello!!!!

Sorry for not blogging for a month. August has become so far the busiest month for me (work and other personal activities). I've been working even on Saturdays.

I missed blogging, I am trying to figure how I can blog through my mini Ipad because I find it more convenient, I think I'm getting old really, these gadgets are sometimes the cause of my headache eh :)

Anyways, August have been good to us, I had one event,  It was a masquerade 18th birthday party. I will make a separate blog post about it later. I was happy with decors :)

September is exciting as this is my husband's birthday month. And as early as now, he has his birthday gift already :)

Happenings

February will soon be over and I only have two posts, but of course that does not mean nothing is going on in my life :) In fact, it is because I only have little time in front of the PC to do personal stuff such as blogging. Anyways, here are some of the happenings this month.

My birthday!! 

We had a simple celebration with the family of my Pastor who happen to have the same birthday with me. We went to a campsite in Batangas and spent the one 2 days/1 night  there. It was such a refreshing time and my husband enjoyed the trees and the peaceful surroundings.

Couples Night

My husband was invited to sing a few songs in a Valentine event of another church, I was invited too :) whether they like it or not! hahaha!. It was such a lovely evening. They had a game wherein we were asked to write a note for each other. We had fun!

Tagaytay Wedding

The husband was asked to sing again and it was very special because he was asked to sing his very own song (original composition) we learned that it was one of the couple's favorite worship song :) 

 Another wedding coming up!

This Sunday, we will have another out of town wedding to attend to, I'll be one of the Principal Sponsor and my husband's band is singing again :) We are honored and humbled by all the invitations.

It was a busy month for me both work and personal, I just hope I can go back to regular posting soon. I miss blog hopping!

It's past 5 in the afternoon, currently sitting here in my office table, waiting for my husband and I don't know why I am soooo hungry all I can think of is food.

Choices

Have you ever been in a situation where you feel like you are being torn between two opposing sides? two friendships perhaps, or two ideas, or two Bosses?  I know it's hard to be in that situation.

I hope I only have to deal with the kind of  choosing clothes or shoes or places to eat-you know what I mean? the kind of whatever you choose you'll end up happy :) 

Say, if husband has to choose between Tay Tay 12 which I think is a 12 string Taylor guitar or a new electronic drum set, I guess whatever he ends up to, he'll be very happy. I would love to be in that kind of  situation anytime of the day.

Unfortunately, in life, harder choices have to be made. But at least you have a CHOICE. It is even more difficult when you are left with no choice right?

I know I have made some bad choices in the past and I ma not very proud of it, but I am hoping that today and in the future I'll choose whatever is right, whatever is more valuable in life and whatever is best for me and for the people I love.

Two blogs terminated

Big sigh. My two other blogs  (rocksdaily.com and theabadianos.com) were terminated by 1&1 due to non payment. I am trying to dispute this as the rocksdaily.com is due for renewal only this month and there is still no invoice from them, while the other one, admittedly, I missed the notice which was due last July. That,  I only learned today upon receiving their reply to my inquiry as to why my 2 blogs are inaccessible since last week.

They say I can transfer them to another host but for sure that would amount to enormous hassle. The technicalities of setting it up again and you know all the codes and all that comes with it. I don't know if I can still do that.

Now, I am considering of just returning it to blogspot extension which is a lot easier. Though that would mean losing some earning rights from few advertisers. Or maybe, it's time for me to just keep and maintain one blog. What you think?

But still, I'm hoping that 1&1 will reconsider (I think I deserve it because I have been a client since 2008) :) hehe.

Whatever happens, one thing is for sure-I will keep on blogging.

My new header

Did you notice the changes in this home of mine? I'm still not that very satisfied but this will do for now. I am specially happy for the header I made :) and the quote. The pictures here were taken years ago but as you can see, those were one of my favorite photos of us thus it deserves to be there plus it shows our current state now..happy and free :)

Remembering

For us here in the Philippines, November 1 is for remembering our departed loved ones but I guess in my part, it does not have to be only on that day because as far as I am concerned, I do remember them almost any day of my life.

I also don't believe in Halloween and do not celebrate it but since my Father passed away last year, we had to go home on November 01 and visit his grave (I'll say his grave because I am very sure that he is not there anymore). This year though, we (meaning my husband and I) were not able to make it home, sad because I'll surely miss a family gathering but we had to accept it. 

Unhappy it maybe but It doesn't mean I forgot Tatay because he will never be forgotten, his memory will always live in my heart, his voice, his jokes and all of him.

Anyways, I'll visit when I go home next time.

We had FUN! Look at our pictures with some of the cast after the show, we are smiling big because we really did enjoy the show. Pure talent!  The production is superb!

and most of all, it was nice to have that quality time with my husband again:)

Life is too short

Enjoying life

It's rainy Saturday here, actually stormy but that didn't stop us from going out of town to visit a friend who had miscarriage which is sad because she didn't know that she is pregnant. I can't imagine how painful it is but I'm sure it does hurt.
 
But for sure, God has better plans for them and that God knows what He's doing.

Guess what? we're now going to 7th year of being married and I noticed it is now less painful when I get to talk about pregnancies and babies. Unlike before that I get too emotional about it. It doesn't mean though that I am okay now not having one I still hope and pray that we will be granted one (by any means would be okay-adopted or by birth)

For now, I will just do what we do, keep on living, keep on enjoying a childless married life, travel to places if we can and last but not the least enjoy the recording session with my husband's band mates which will resume tomorrow evening. I'm sure at the end of the recording we will all gain more knowledge about music and stuff like electro-voice microphones.

I hope you are all enjoying your life too, whatever it is throwing you at the moment. And I leave you my one liner favorite quote "this too shall pass".

April ends

And we're on to 5th month of the year already. I knew what I'll say next.."time flies so fast" ..because it really is. We're done with the first quarter of the year. So much have happened and I'm bracing my heart for the many upcoming events in our life (testing and trials included)

 Just to make a wrap up of our first quarter...
 January- celebrated my Father's 75th birthday 
February - Rudolf left his not so old day job, he worked for 5 months.
               - my first ever surprise birthday party, one I will never forget in this lifetime.
 March - worship events with Selah Band -CEBU trip
 April - Youth Camp, The Jesus Festival, holy week vacation in my hometown

 I don't want to say we were busy but it was actually a full quarter.

And no baby news yet, as usual, I hoped and I prayed but to no avail, well..I am still hoping and I am still praying and whatever the outcome is we will still trust the Lord.After all, there is still May, June,July and if not this year, 2013 is yet to come as wells as 2014 :) We will wait even how long it takes.
