Rapha's 1st birthday photoshoot

These photos were taken before Rapha's 1st birthday, I think this was taken December of 2019. Of course he is much bigger now. He is after all 25 months old.

I have a toddler now :)

I really regret not blogging the past years. For now, I will be posting old photos and milestone of my son just so I have something to look back and read or maybe even show him someday :)

My husband and I did the styling here, Camille took the photos :) venue was from a nearby park. I am so grateful we were able to do this just before Covid came into the scene.

One word for 2018

Last year, my one word was SURRENDER and indeed God made sure I will surrender everything to HIM. Total surrender.

Let's see this year, but yes, I will move more-physically and spiritually.

Happy new year everyone!!

Rainbow

There is indeed a rainbow after the storm. As always, grateful that we are able to pass through, it was rough, tough and we were wounded and the scar will always be there but it's ok, that scar is so beautiful! It reminds me of God's faithfulness and grace.

Praying 2018 will be way better than 2017. All the good and beautiful things will come, more happy memories and abundance of love and blessings. Wishing it for all of you too!!

Healing

3 months

And I am completely different now, the way I see life, the way I view things, the way I perceive marriage.

That 3 months made a major impact in our married life.

And  here we are now, on our way to complete recovery only because we have GOD who loves us even when we are unlovable, HIS GRACE is always SUFFICIENT.

And I will be forever grateful to HIM -the author of our marriage and to family & friends who fought with us in prayers.

Hello!

It's been forever since my last post.

And i know this isn't the best time for me to be here writing because of my current emotional state.

I temporarily deactivated my facebook account because people are beginning to ask about the stuff I am posting there.

I wish I can disclose it here also but not yet, maybe someday.

I am going through a very tough time in my life and I remember my one word for 2017.

"SURRENDER"

that is what I ma trying to do now, total surrender to the Lord. If you are a praying person, would you be so kind to say a prayer for me please? I'll appreciate it.

Finally an update

Yay! it's  actually end of the month and only my 2nd post.  Thankful that I am was able to squeeze it today.

I don't know how I am going to rate my January because there is one major heartache happened to our family.

My mothers youngest sister aged 63 years old went home with the Lord last January 16.  It was so sudden, and we were all sad. I immediately went home to be with my Nanay, we went straight to my Aunt's house which is one and a half hour away from our house in the province. My Aunt who permanently resides in the US went home also and it was a very sad reunion for them.

The good thing with a death in the family ( yes we have to find good even in the worst situation) is that we get to see almost all of our relatives and somehow it eases the pain. It was also at this time that they started to plan for a yearly family reunion. Looking forward to our first ever family reunion this December, another reason to be excited for the holidays.

Our Uber operations (naks!) meaning hubs source of living was affected for two weeks because of this, but that's ok. My principle always is that "family comes first" and "we can never out give God". We lost some income but I am hopeful we can recover in due time.

~*~
Work is even crazier than last year, I was given more loads this year. I actually declined the job offer but my boss did not accept it. So for now, I am learning new things, trying my best and surviving. Thank God. :)

~*~
We have also started the work for the annual youth mission camp this year, this work makes me excited and happy. I am amazed at how creative our youth officers are. This year will be another major experience for our camp attendees and I'm sure they are in for a big surprise.

well, that's it for now. I have yet to post our new years picture in Baguio, l hope I can make another post before my birthday this February :)

have a good day everyone! God bless you!

Counting our blessings!

It's year end, actually it's the last week of the year, last Thursday and finally last working day for  2016. Isn't it great to end this year with a thankful instead of a complaining heart?

Count your blessings, yes, name them one by one if you can, it will help you have a more brighter perspective, a  more thankful heart and a more positive outlook in life.

This year, me and my husband received a lot of blessings much more than we deserved. Though there has been plenty of tough times too, I would still say, the blessings outweigh the testings and trials.

So this  is a thank you post. I want to say thank you Lord ;

1. For our very first new car. It never crossed my mind that it will be granted to us this year, but the Lord has His ways of surprising us di ba?

2. For hubby's new job as Uber driver. It is not as stressful as his old job was and the liberty of time it gave him is priceless.

3. For the  increase on my pay. Although this came with responsibilities, it is still a promotion on my part and I consider it a big blessing. For all the opportunities to earn extra  (event organizing, balloon decors, t-shirt printing)

4. For hubby's two trips abroad (Macau & Singapore) both free. It's not everyday that someone takes you to travel with them and give you free accommodation in a five star hotel! that is once in a lifetime experience. Plus he was paid extra for that.

5. For our Boracay trip last September. Our first time in Boracay, we both enjoyed our 3 days trip.

6. For new nephew and niece in the family (one from a very close cousin who gave birth last October and from my Sis in Law (hubby's side) who gave birth January this year. Babies are special blessings.

7. For my girls (Maru,Camille and Christel) who stood by our side, through thick and thin. They are young and yet matured enough both emotional and spiritual. I love these girls. Thankful also for friends, I realized I have few friends but the kind of friendship we have are for keeps, some of them has been friend of mine since grade school.

8. For my immediate family, they keep me going, they are my inspiration, my nieces and nephews are my gems. For my Nanay - I am more than grateful that despite the deterioration of her memory, she is still with us and somehow keeps us family together.
with my sisters and our Nanay taken last Christmas day 12-25-16

9. For my spiritual family- for our Pastor/Ninong & Ninang who fervently pray for us, who loves us unconditionally, thank you Lord for their life.

10. For our good health- thankful that we never had a trip to hospital, nor we had to consult a doctor for any kind of illness. Indeed thank you so much Lord. Health is wealth.

I'll end with 10 but that doesn't mean it's over. I have so many blessings to count and to be thankful for.

I am sure you are too. We all have plenty of reason to be thankful this year end, after all God has been good to all of us right? Go ahead, right it down, count your blessings, count them one by one!

Happy New Year!!

It's 5 days before Christmas!!!

December is normally extremely busy month for me, but this year it doubled as I was also in charge with our office Christmas party and other Christmas activities which was all new to me, thus the lack of posts. Sigh.

And we also had few booking for our  balloon decors service which is good in my part :) because that means extra income!

Finally, I have time to update, this week is a lot less busier except for the never ending meetings at the office but still not as toxic as before.

I think hubs has slowly adjusted to his new routine (uber driver). Driving from Mondays to Thursdays, Fridays and weekends are his rest days.

We are spending Christmas in our home town, it has been years since we spent Christmas there, now that Nanay refuses to go here in Manila, we will be going home to her instead. It will also be nice to see old  friends on holidays.

So how's your December? Are you all set for Christmas?

Me? I'm still buying gifts for my nieces and nephews :) Christmas rush. :D

Hello!!!!

Sorry for not blogging for a month. August has become so far the busiest month for me (work and other personal activities). I've been working even on Saturdays.

I missed blogging, I am trying to figure how I can blog through my mini Ipad because I find it more convenient, I think I'm getting old really, these gadgets are sometimes the cause of my headache eh :)

Anyways, August have been good to us, I had one event,  It was a masquerade 18th birthday party. I will make a separate blog post about it later. I was happy with decors :)

September is exciting as this is my husband's birthday month. And as early as now, he has his birthday gift already :)

Thank you for still visiting this postless blog of mine.

Stay happy!

Today I remember

the day I received that phone call that changed my life forever..
the day I came to face the overwhelming pain that numbed me for days..
the day I lost the very first man that loved me fully and wholeheartedly..
the day he breathed his last..

and it does still hurt..
and I still miss him that MUCH..
his text messages, his smiles and jokes
his hugs...

and I still do cry.
even if it has been two years since he left us for good

I miss you so much Tatay!! I love you..Till we meet again in heaven.

Weekend Randomness

My Nanay, my only brother, my sister and her entire family are coming back home tonight from a trip to my Broher in law's home town, province of Aklan. They had an overnight trip to BORACAY and I'm so jealous :( hahaha!! If not for the camp, we would have joined them but  because I have limited "leave of absence" and well, money, we regretfully declined  the invitation. But I am happy for all of them, specially for my Mom-it's her first airplane ride at the age of 75. :) Grateful that she's physically strong enough to travel and enjoy life.

*~*

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner in "Vikings" :)  They sang a love song for us and gave this small cake with greetings, normally they would do that for a birthday celebrant but when they learned that it was our anniversary, they happily obliged ;)

After almost two years of having housemates (a.k.a in-laws) there's just the two of us again in our small house. It was a relief also, as much as I love having them, I don't think it is healthy for all of us to be living together. I'm just happy that we're good and we are all in good terms.

HAVE A HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!!
