Major CHANGE

Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last decent update on what's going on in our lives and I have so many things to post, have to remember to make separate blog post for Christmas and New year celebration and of course or gift giving activity in Aurora.

But for now, I'm letting you all know that a major change in our life is coming in the next few months. We were told early of this month that the building where we live (which happens to be a very old building owned by our company) will now be taken down and then they will rebuild a new one. That means, we have to vacate the place and we were given at least 6 months to look for another place to live.

So these days, we were in the hunt again for a new place, which made my husband  excited because finally in he is putting up his home music studio soon in this new place. Now, he is slowly completing his stuff, he bought new computer last December specifically designed for recording and also his musical instrument accessories, hopefully this month he'll be able to buy the audio interface.

I know, it will be totally different and new again for us, moving is not easy, packing and unpacking things is crazy and pure headache but I try to be as excited as my husband, change is inevitable and we have to embrace it whether we like it or not.

The only major concern for me now is to be able to find that perfect place for us, one that suits our needs and of course suits our budget.

New year, new place, new beginnings :)

CHANGE OF PLANS

The past week was a week of deciding for me and the husband and decision making isn't always a nice job. When you are deciding, you need to weigh a lot of things and sometimes it becomes stressful. Good thing we're past over it now.

As you all know, we are moving out this year and our initial plan was to rent a place for me and hubby here in the Metro but turn of events made us decide other wise.

Now, we are moving in my sister's place in Bulacan and for some it raises some questions but I know it's the best decision we came up to. For one, we wouldn't be renting for at least 18 months and the money we will spend for the rent will go directly to the PROJECT HOUSE fund which is our biggest project this year and I guess for the rest of our married life.

The only downside is that I will spend more time on the road everyday because of work. I do not want to risk hubby's life so he wouldn't be taking me to the office with our motorbike everyday. I don't want to have unnecessary expenses if ever, road and Offshore Accidents do happen everyday and I certainly do not want that.

So, another BIG CHANGE in our life. I just hope I am able to cope up with all the changes coming our way this 2011.

PAGBABAGO

"Change is inevitable. So I guess I have to accept it

Or at least I have to ready myself for it.

Changes in environment, changes in lifestyle, and changes of people you talk to almost everyday of your life.

I’m counting the days. Me and hubby are counting the days and yes, we’re afraid but we can’t wait for the CHANGE.”

That was quoted from my own post dated March 2, 2009

And yes it’s true, I dreaded change. I am one of the few person who would rather stay with what she is comfortable with than to change. But guess what? Whether we like it or not, change has to happen at one point in our life. We graduate from high school, from college, we get our first job, we moved from our parents’ house, we get married, we have children and all of those are major change in an individual. As the saying goes “the only permanent in this world is change”.

And so I welcomed the big change in our married life last August 2010. It was not an easy decision but nevertheless, we welcomed and embraced it. With the goldilocks store in front of our office building, I shove the fear away with each bite of sweet cinnamon bread (my favorite) and of course with a lot of prayers.

My husband being a church missionary lived in the mission’s house and when I married him, they’ve given us our own room in the house. For three years, we live there with free water and electricity and of course no rental fee. I could say we were in our comfort zone for three years.

Change is always accompanied with pains but most of the time, it’s worth it. We moved out of the mission’s house and rented our own place where we have to pay for everything. It might sound a bad decision but it was not. As I have said I welcome the change and surprisingly loved it.

Like Goldilocks, we change to give room for improvement, for a better service. If you change for all the right reason then there’s nothing to worry about. I love how the old goldilocks gave way for the new “goldilocks” I am sure leaving it left a painful memory but it is worth it especially if the new one is BETTER.

I love our new “home” and yes it is BETTER.
