I can not vote and I am fat

It's weekend and a long one again, the second for this month.

It's also election day on Monday. I was supposed to go to home to our hometown to celebrate Mother's day and to vote but............ I know there is not enough reason not to go because I'm missing my parents so much. but then again, if only I am rich I'll go there and visit them every week.

Although I have talked to them over the phone this afternoon it is still sad not being able to go with my original plan. Anyways, I'll just have to wait for them to come here on the 17th.

I know my vote is wasted and I know that whoever wins I have no rights to complain. I'll just have to support him and pray for him, that is the best I can do.

So we had a change of plan for the weekend, we're going to my sister's place instead in Bulacan right after the hubby cast his vote. I also hope I can begin "walking/exercising" this weekend because I am soooo big and that is not an exagerration. i look at my pictures last night and I was not happy at all, I look so tired, stressed and fat. Oh well, I am fat. I guess even the best fat burbners like what it said in apidexin reviews would not help at all unless I really do my part which means less food intake and more moving.

Great Lazy Saturday

I love lazy Saturday days..you know days like your waking up time is lunch time and then after eating a hearty lunch you can go back to bed or hit your computer and play all the games you want..

I cherished those days because those days are very rare to me.

So I am going to enjoy it today..because today is one of those rare days.

So I will take my time, play some more games and will browse some sites and see if I can find a job in Singapore, comments to friend's status, read book and sleep.

This is going to be a great day..This is a great day!!!

Sleepless, restless

It’s been a busy weekend. Over busy if I may say, it’s like I only had few hours sleep last Friday and last night and obviously I’m still awake right at this moment typing away while the husband snores beside me, so that means I’m getting few hours of sleep again tonight not because of the snore but because of some assignments I have yet to finish.

Let me give you a preview of how our weekend went.

Saturday- Urban poor kids Christmas party, there were 300 kids that morning so you can just imagine how chaotic that was but it’s worth it, seeing them fall in line for our chocolate fountain and wait patiently for their turn while their eyes grow big in expectant of that yummy chocolate, it’s all worth it.

Saturday afternoon – we joined our church in hospital ministry which I am going to write on another post in our ministry blog.

This morning was our church Christmas party where we usually give gifts to friends and godchildren so I rushed some unwrapped gifts last night. And this afternoon was the Sunday school Christmas party as well. So you see at this point in time I don’t see the need of any weight loss pills or a dip machine because even If there’s plenty of food on parties I know I somehow burn that because I also work non-stop during this season.

Tomorrow I still have to go to office, if my body can. If not I plan to work half day and take some rest in the morning.

Busy month. Very busy month.

It's long weekend!!

I am looking forward for a long weekend tomorrow and although my Saturday will still be full because of Praisin Kids town activity, still I am giddily happy I don't have to wake up early on Monday morning!!

Who doesn't love long weekend? Ask all the corporate slaves like me and they will answer in unison for sure. I know need a rest. I've been working like a horse the whole week, maybe the boss thinks I have four hands and four heads. I was literally typing like mad for a couple of days. I need a break.

Next week will be all work again which is bad because I know I have to find time to go to Pag-ibig and SSS office to secure a new ID. I heard there's a long line in both offices now a days because a lot are filing for calamity loans r some people maybe filing for disability appeal, whatever I hope I can finish that task next week. Have to remind my self also that hubby has to go with me so he can transfer his status to voluntary contribution.

But let us think of that next week. For now I will just look forward for the long weekend.

Hubby and I are off to Nueva Ecija for my Nanay's 70th birthday celebration!! And even now I imagine good and lots of food!! I know there will be lechon and am so looking forward to it!

Anyways, this was just a quick post. As you can see it is already 12:59 AM and I am still wide awake and we are leaving at 4:00 in the morning. Still haven't got proper sleep since last night.

Christmas Eve on December 24 which falls on a Thursday, has also been declared as a Special Non-Working Day this year.

Another Special Non-Working Day is New Year's Eve on December 31 which falls on a Thursday.

To sum it up : 8 long weekends, 4 days off for Christmas and 5 days for the New Year.

You can file leave for Dec 28 and 29 and that will give you 11 days. You can also file a leave for April 7 and 8-that will give you a 9 days off from work! Yay! How nice!

Wish I could squeeze in one long weekend getaway with hubby for our Anniversary Celebration. For those who have all the means, you can now start booking!

Me? Have to pray for more assignments pa so I can avail of those cheap airfare promos. And speaking of assignments, I have to do cattle supplies now before it expires.

Weekend is over

How’s your weekend everyone? Mine is over, that fast. How time flies indeed. It’s Monday again tomorrow and even now I am already having Monday sickness, like I don’t feel like waking up early tomorrow. Where have my weekend gone?

Well, I don’t know if it’s busy because I just stayed home the whole day Saturday but I had my hand full. We (me and Jemimah) ventured into selling street food on afternoons because we needed additional funds for our first mission trip on February. It’s fun though, we enjoyed the first two days but it’s tiring. We are still thinking of some fund raising ventures in the next few days. Probably I’ll do some garage sale too. What else ba? If I could only sell term life insurance that quick I might have enough funds in no time but crisis oh crisis, I think no one is buying any insurance now.

Howell, I’m sure God will supply all my needs. I am certain of that crisis or not. The Lord we serve is unaffected of any economic situation and I praise HIM for that.

Busy and Long day

It was such a busy and long day for me. I was up at around 4:30 AM and was already out of the house at 6:00. I must say I accomplished a lot today. Passport done and will be released on the 22nd of December, so that was a major accomplishment for me.

It will also be a busy weekend (as always) for me. I think the coming weekends will be the busiest for me this year. Several Christmas parties coming, a fund raising concert and a wedding to coordinate, well at least I have friends I can count on to for help.

Oh..the Twilight is now showing and also the Eraserheads concert. I wish I can see anyone of the two. My golly, I have never been into movie house since ages. I don’t even know that there’s a kind of home theater lighting now. I would really love to se twilight. I hope I can ask hubby to come with me.

Anyways, tomorrow is a long day again so I better hit the sack now. I’m like awake for 21 hours now. Sheesh.

Good morning! This is very rare for me. I usually don’t blog on weekends more so on Sunday mornings but here am I.

Well, I had a blast yesterday seeing old friends. It was such a nice feeling. I miss them so much and the laughs that we usually shared. It’s a blessing to have friends you know you’ll be friends forever. I’ll post pictures probably tomorrow or later tonight.

IT Outsourcing work and weekend

Weekend is here again and this time I have something to look forward to. Tomorrow morning we’re off to Bacoor, Cavite. I’m going to see old friends from Cabantuan and I’m so excited. I’m sure there will be lots of stories to tell and lots of updating to do. Can’t wait for tomorrow.

But then, I have to deal with the “today” first.

And today means office work and that includes a research for IT Outsourcing companies here in Manila. I don’t know if there are lots of them here but I’m quite sure there’s plenty in other countries. Have to see advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing too.

Well, guess have to start it now.

Plain lazy today

I just woke up. I know it’s way too late but I slept at around 6 AM already. After dropping and bloghopping last night, I went to bed at around 3 am and then switched on the TV and found a good movie by Johny Depp so there I ended up sleeping so very very late.

It’s weekend today and I am not doing anything special, no general cleaning, no putting up of Christmas decors yet as most of the housewives I know are doing now. I think I might go back to bed after doing some online tasks. I am plain lazy today, all I want to do is eat and sleep.

I miss snapping some new pictures already, our camera has been useless for almost a month now not because it ran out of flash memory but it's because the battery is dead, someone borrowed it and left the battery charger. I wish I could buy a new battery but there has been so many unwanted and unexpected expenses last week.sad.

Hubby and I are doing fine. Last night I watched 700 club and the Lord spoken to me through that show. I still am hurting over those incidents last week but I’ll try to look at it in a different note now. Nobody’s perfect and I am far from being one. Everybody makes mistakes (uy hanna Montana song!) anyway.

Well, as I have said I will just visit some blogs and go back to bed again. Hope you’re all having a nice weekend!

It's Friday!

Although weekend is not totally rest days for m, I still look forward to it every week. As a matter of fact I think I have more things to do on weekends than weekdays. Finally, I will be able to sit down and work on the fund raising event we are planning. It’s quite a shame that I only manage to finish 2 of my to do list for this week. So as usual I see a busy weekend even with my online life, I’m thankful of many online opportunities that are coming my way. God knows we need it. Good thing I enjoy surfing and looking at the sites that were being assigned to me, like this Rimowa from luggagesource.com. I know someday me and hubby will be needing this especially if we are to go out in the mission field.

Off to Tagaytay today

That's why I'm up as early as 5:00 AM this morning, well, not really to prepare for the trip but also to do some hops before leaving because I see a busy weekend again.

we will be going to Tagaytay at 7 AM today, probably be back home late afternoon and then will be off to Pangasinan naman at around 10 PM. See? I told yah.I'll have a busy weekend and will be out of the internet world until Sunday.

general cleaning time!

I've been cleaning this small abode of ours since morning and as of this time I am not done yet it’s because I’m also doing some things on the side like dropping entrecards and bloghopping at the same time. I wasn’t able to drop and hop yesterday because it was such a busy day at the office and I slept so early! Yes, I think I’m already snoring even before the clock strike 11’o clock, that’s very unusual for me.

In a while I’ll be going down for our music ministry practice but before that I’ll have to browse a site for air conditioning compressor, no I don’t need as of today but who knows?

A Birthday and our weekend

Today is hubby’s birthday. Last night after the worship team practice we had a simple but happy dinner, right after the dinner we wad an impromptu meeting and brainstorming for a fund raising concert on November 21. It was a busy Saturday again yesterday. Did the grocery and went to wet market too.

The church greeted hubby after the service and again we had lunch with our friends here.

Posted something for hubby here and told him that is my gift. Hehe!

Again, I wish I could give him something he wants or something he needs like a laptop of his own with big laptop memory of course.

Well, I think he already have the best gift. ME! O di ba?

Our weekend gig

Happy Monday morning everyone!

Again, I wasn't able to do anything about blogs last weekend for the reason that our PC is still not ok, hubby will bring it to the specialist today and hopefully when I get home tonight ok na. So all my blog works I have to do in between breaks here at the office.

So how's our weekend? Busy as a bee, our Saturday was so full untill 10 in the evening. We already started the feeding ministry in our new area in La Paz, Makati City. You can check pictures here. It's tiring but it's fulfilling.

Then we went to Manila Polo Club for a birthday gig (the first for the band), our Chinese neighboor invited hubby to play for their daughter's 7th birthday party na Hannah Montana ang theme, since the music ministry is doing some fund raising for the LCD, we accepted the invitation. It was such a very nice party, from the decoration to the prizes, to the give aways. Here are some of the pictures ;

Long weekend

Guess what? I started my long weekend early.

I’ve been sick since Thursday and last night was terrible for me. Hubby nearly brought me to the hospital. I thought it was only flu but then I had fever and stomach pain and then LBM with vomiting last night. Shucks, I think I lost at least 10 pounds. Should I say thank you then?
It was not a very good experience, good thing hubby was there with me, I am so thankful that he is so enduring, he prayed, he cuddled, he massaged me with ointment, he cooked for me. I couldn’t ask for more. And to think that he is also having back pains and just had an X-ray for it.
Praise God for the best husband ever.

So, I’ve been lying in bed for 3 days now and I think It wouldn’t make me feel better so I finally decided to get-up, had a nice cold bath and check blogs. Still with a lot of coughing.

I bet I’m gonna be like this for the rest of the so called long weekend.

It’s Tuesday, it’s only 12 noon and

I’m dead tired. Why? I went to province yesterday and just came back this morning and went straight to office. So I’m really tired now. I can not afford to not to go to work because the boss will look for me and it’s holiday yesterday, I know I should be reporting to work.

I’ve so many things to blog about my long weekend, hopefully I’ll be able to do more updates tonight and sorry if I haven’t drop EC for the past 2 days. It’s been busy busy weekend for me.

TGIF-Today God Is First

For some it’s Thank God it’s Friday but I love how my fellow blogger defined it. Today God Is First.

And isn’t it supposed to be TGIF everyday? Putting God first everyday does make a difference, I am a living testimony to that. Sometimes when I wake up too late and then rush on to my breakfast and completely forget about HIM, the day would turn out to be stressful and chaotic.

I am learning a habit again of spending even just a few minutes everyday with HIM every morning right before my day begins. And yes, it makes a difference.

Anyways, How would you spend your weekend? I’ll be visible this weekend in the blogoshpere because I owe a lot of my friends a blog visit and I will work on that franchise opportunity me and my cousin talk about sometime ago.
