On Jewelries

Looks like an elegant regular jewelry bracelet no? But it’s not because it’s one of those medical alert bracelets available in www.jewelelegance.com. And if you love jewelries, if you love shopping online, if you love dangles and belly rings, or charm bracelets or you want jewelries for your children, then by all means visit their site. They offer free shipping and there are lots of beautiful designs to choose from. And besides jewelries is good investment too. Got that from my sister who was in the jewelry industry for a long time.

My DSL Dilemma

To apply or not to apply. I know I don’t need another monthly bill to pay but I need internet connection at least when I most need it. I wasn’t able to blog yesterday at the office and even when I got home. That triggers my desire to have my own internet line.

I called up PLDT this morning and it said 2-3 weeks after receipt of job order. And of course the hassle of going to their business office and securing all the requirements.

Now I’m having second thought, should we get hub na lang? or buy a router? A friend of mine is offering a used cisco router, because she’s buying a new one. I don't wanna spend too much on router and hub and then will find myself applying for new connection after few months.sayang.

Need to decide on this soon. I’m just amazed how internet has become necessity for me now.

On horses

I came from the horse racing industry thus explains my fondness for horses. I used to see horses everyday of my life and when you see them everyday, wouldn’t you fall in love with them? I remember, clients would even ask me on what medicines and treatments for some horse ailments. There was even a time I wish I took veterinary medicine in college. Back then I knew by heart all the vitamins, racing stuff, ointments, injectables, saddles and tablets we have in stock for sale.

I stayed at that job for almost three years, personal reasons made me quit after a heart breaking decision. And mind you I was earning well back then, much more of what I am receiving now..tsk..tsk. Somehow, I miss Disconnect.

Choose our words

I’ve been staring at the monitor for almost an hour now and I can’t think of anything to write. I had a YM chat with a cousin just a while ago and know what it brought me? Sadness and guilt and pain and all…and come to think of it, we just had a short conversation. That ma me think how words can make or unmake our day. I was wondering had she chosen the right words to say, will I still feel like this? Or had I chose not to response anymore would I still be as hurt like this?

It’s odd because I know she was trying to encourage me and cheer me up but it did the other way around.

But thanks, I am reminded to carefully choose words because it might lift up or it can push a person deep down to the lowest level.

What a way to start the morning. But I will choose to not ruin my whole day. I will choose to still be happy and do things right.

And with that note, I am reminded of Leptitrex, in case you do not know, it is another weight loss product which claims to detoxify your body, eliminate acne, suppress appetite and give you a "euphoric high." Now that is something right? And I wish I could just take so many fat burner as I can too. I need to suppress my appetite..haha!

So there, see? I am feeling good now.

The week that was

July28-August 3

Sure it was a hard week but Praise God for HIS faithfulness.

1. My 15 year old SIL who stays with us went missing last Saturday but was finally home last Thursday. That was the longest 5 days of our lives. Sleepless, worried and aghast of what might happen to her. But the love of God comforts us and clamed us. Thank God.

2. More online opportunities came my way.

3. I tried again for the nth time to change my blog lay out but to no avail.

4. It was a rainy week, I miss sunshine.

5. We had worship babad last Tuesday Night, planning to have one again soon.

Randomness

I did something unusual today. I did the laundry! though I only did the half portion of our dirty clothes. But still that’s so unusual and what more I did it all by myself, alright, hubby lend a hand but that’s when I’m about to finish na. I’m just so proud. Haha! I felt like a very domesticated plain housewife today and it feels good. Why it’s unusual? Because I don’t like doing it ever since I was a kid and hubby knows that.

So I was tired but it’s ok, it’s an accomplishment.

We just concluded the worship team practice tonight and I had the chance to talk to one of the new singer, I know we’re becoming friends now and I was glad she was able to share what she’s been going through. I just hope God will give her the desire of her heart in honor of her service for HIM. It’s sad seeing a heart broken and worrying about someone you love.

And it made me ever grateful that I married the “best man” God has chosen for me. Hubby maybe less in comparison to others in terms of academic and finances but he’s so rich in his love for the Lord and that made him stand out from the rest.

And he was proud of me today too. I knew it.

How’s your weekend going? I still have one more day (Sunday) before the busy Monday come. I expect a no blog day on Monday at the office, probably not even on my breaktime. Ugh. I am bound to make the best out of it tomorrow. I’ll do more bloghops, entrecard droppings, blog tweaking (which usually end up to nothing being change) and websites surfing.

And yes, the night isn’t over yet for me. I’ll still have to look for mortgage lenders and mortgage sites. My sister recently got the unit beside their home in their village and I wonder if I’ll be able to do that in the future too. And I still have to type the new songs for tomorrow's worship service.

Goodnight everyone! Have a blessed Sunday!

Preparing for the rain

I want this for a baby girl, nice no? Some say pink is already overused for a girl but hey it looks so lovely and nice!

I am not pregnant yet, but I have high hopes. Others may think I’m crazy because I am browsing crib bedding sets and other baby stuff, well, can I just say I’m preparing for the rain? got that form the movie facing the Giants. God knows how much I wanted a baby and it’s not bad to be prepared right?

For a baby boy, I like this one, I love the soft touch of blue in it. Sigh. I can’t wait to buy those stuff.

A different real property investment

Have you heard about fractional ownership? Seems unfamiliar? Probably here in the Philippines but in other countries it’s becoming popular now. It’s very similar to timeshare and it actually started in the early 1990’s.

According to Wikipedia;

“Fractional ownership divides a property into more affordable segments for individuals and also matches an individual’s ownership time to their actual usage time. A fractional share gives the owners certain privileges, such as a number of days or weeks when they can use the property.”

Sounds good right? How about having one at Winter Park, Lakota? Now, that sounds even better. If you have one, you need not worry where to head to on holidays, need not worry of ever increasing hotel rates. You just pack your things and enjoy a good vacation.

This picked my interest so much, because I love holidays and vacations, I love family outings. If I could, I would invest in this kind of real property ownership.
