Love is in the air :)

It was a privilege working with this couple. She was the most organized bride I ever had :D every little detail is written with clear instruction. Working with her is so easy and I enjoyed it so much plus the fact that she is our Ninong's daughter.

In love with weddings

My wedding photographer posted one of our pictures in his facebook page which made me look into more wedding pictures last night and I enjoyed it so much especially those of my friend's wedding pictures.

I so love wedding. I wish of getting married again someday (to the same guy of course) a renewal of vows perhaps and only if money is not a problem, no doubt a garden wedding it will be just like my wedding seven years ago (because I love an outdoor wedding) with only my family and closest friends in attendance :) No harm in dreaming right?

I'll get inspiration from  Orange County estate wedding and events, wish I can have an event in  The Folly because it is so intimate and as I have said I love the garden type :) here's a picture.

Isn't it lovely there? I can imagine how romantic the exchange of vows can be and  oh the many beautiful pictures you can take :D  Visit their facebook page EstateWeddingandEvents for more beautiful weddings and corporate venues as well.

Alejandra Hotel in Makati

Alejandra hotel is a small (with only 27 guestroom) but new hotel along Zobel Roxas St. in Palanan,Makati City. As we were searching for nearby wedding venues, we were led to inquire with them and tonight we had the chance to see for ourselves what this hotel can offer.

 ROOMS &  RATES

We checked the rooms and here's what it is; The studio room is P1,800.00 per night, plated breakfast included for two person It's small but I think it's very much okay for that price. But I'm sorry I have no picture of the studio room.

Anyways, here's the Suite room which is 25 square meters and with bath tub for 3,500.00 per night, breakfast also included. 2 double bed and king size bed available for you to choose from.

only the suite room has bathtub
the king size bed

But what we were there to see the skyline rooftop actually for a December wedding, the guy said this can accommodate 150 guests but i doubt it, I think it is too crowded for 150 guests.

That's me and the bride to be (thinking if this is it!)

they also has a conference room and a resto/bar. I did not inquire for the rates though. But you may contact them here :

Rizal Re-Creation Center

This huge place surrounded by lots of coconut trees is located at Rizal,Laguna. Our church has been here few times but this was my first time. I think the rates is quite reasonable, the food is not so much to drool for but is good enough.

How to get there: From Makati where our church is located

We went to Buendia Taft terminal of JAC LINER bus (which is by the way free wi-fi) going to Lucena City.(Approximately 2 hours or less) We alighted at San Pablo City, took a tricycle for the jeepney terminal going to Nagcarlan,Laguna. We just told the driver we're going to Rizal Re-Creation and then few minutes later we're already at the place :)
And if you want to play chess while waiting for your activity to start, here's the chess pavillion

But don't be surprised, there is no chess board but chess on the floor instead :) the pawns are big!!
There is a snack bar and a tree house.
There is also a basketball court, volleyball and indoor games, bonfire areas and two swimming pools, the other one with slides but they don't have pool lift.
And I did not miss the top man's show : Joe Mauk with his blue top. I hope I can make a separate post about him and ho he is using his top show to share God's gospel.

I'm sure a wedding is possible here also, I wish I inquired but if you want to know more about the place , here's their contact info taken from their site.

Sonya's Garden Wedding

I'm excited! as excited as my friend J-mie who is getting married there come November 28, 2009. One more year to go. Oh yes, it's still 12 months but we are excited. Sonya's Garden is such a nice place, we already visited the place twice and it never fails to amaze us of its lush gardens, the beauty of the flowers, the serenity of the surrounding. Perfect for a wedding venue. Perfect for a place to exchange vows before God and men.

Can't wait to see her walk here with her wedding gown!

And of course..can't wait to eat this healthy and super yummy salad again! For details on how to go there, you can visit their website.

Can't wait for a beautiful Sonya's Garden wedding. :)

Excited for Saturday

"Thank God it's Friday"

Favorite Yahoo Messenger status in the office every Friday. For the office working girls like me, it's also one of our favorite days right? end of workweek eh.

Last day of the 2nd week of July, how time flies indeed. next thing we know it's August already. There is nothing special for today except that office hours is shorter (now, I think that is something special!)

But tomorrow..is different..We're going to Tagaytay or more specifically "Sonya's Garden". We're having lunch there so I'm quite excited for that. My good friend Vhon and J-mie want that place as wedding venue so we have to go and try for their food and ask for wedding packages also.

In the afternoon, we will watch Rommel Guevarra's concert in strumms, busy day again tomorrow, but that's fine with me. For now I am enjoying my busy Saturdays.

The sad part of it is that I will have no time to blog and visit my friends blog, so if you don't see me in the blogoshpere this weekend, please do understand.

hay, sana 5 o'clock na...

In our search of wedding venue

for our very good friend Andrew and Carmel..

I came across this "hotel"..I was browsing through yellow pages and called their number..and a giggly and super friendly girl entertained me..

and gave me the cheapest of all the rates we have in our hands..well that's for 3 star hotels..so I informed Carmel about it..she was quite happy and asked her fiance to do the ocular that night..and so when we reach the place after several tanongs from here and there..:) we're all not good in following directions..hehe!

eto na..

we entered and I was surprised to see an old lady sa reception desk..:) di ba the usual..mga young and beautiful ang nasa front desk????

and then I inquired and then she called someone to show us the function room..

hala..it was creepy..when we got inside pa..sumakit talaga ulo ko..no one is around..no people..
and then we looked around..the place looks so old...and smells bad..amoy luma talaga...

and then..the boy that showed us around..told us it was one of the oldest "hotel" in Manila.. ok lang sana if it is well kept..may mga guests and alive..but it was not.. howell, sabi na nga ba pagbasa ko ng quote from them "it's too good to be true"

Can I mention the name of that "hotel" here???
