We have been planning (dreaming/wishing) of getting our own vehicle since time immemorial..hehe, we were actually looking at second hand cars but God has other plans for us, He did not only give us a second hand but a brand new one and what's exciting is that -  it is not a liability in our part but an income generating as well. We are now part of Uber family :D Now he's ready to save for his music studio, maybe this pod xt live is next on his list.

My late valentines gift to my dearest husband and he's been the happiest since we bought this last Saturday. He said and I knew it very well that this is by far the most pricey shoes he has ever had and to think this isn't that expensive for some, but for him this is really big thing.

Gifts for mothers day

I know it's only February and mothers day is still 2 months to go..but here I am  already posting about good gifts for mothers day. Why not di ba? At least you'll have enough time to think what to give to your mom as early as now.

Flowers - I'm sure moms will appreciate this beauty right? And flowers are much cheaper on May than February :)

but if I know my mother will also appreciate these frames specially if I'll put pictures of all her grandkids

and jewelries? I'm sure your mom will love you!

but as for my mother? I know exactly what she wants..hehe! cold cash :)

Personalized Gifts for Christmas

I've been looking for personalized but inexpensive gifts over the internet for the last few days now, you see, I've updated the gift list I mentioned on my previous posts and I'm hoping I'll find some nice gifts out there. As much as possible I would love to give personalized gifts, I remember one Christmas I gave more than a dozen coffee mugs with the recipient's name on it, then I wrote each a personal letter, put it inside the mug and wrapped it with tulle. I knew my friends appreciated it because of the personal touch :)

Now I'm thinking of these very cute personalized notebooks I saw from some multiply sites. I am wishing though for a much lower price or maybe I can hope to have personal creations promotional code so I can buy from them with discounts. I checked their site and they do sell some very good personalized stuff too.

Maybe, I can repeat the coffee mugs..and will give to those I have not given them before...what you think?

By the way, I love receiving personalized gifts too, I treasure my personalized notepad with my new married name which I received months after our wedding. :)

Christmas Gift List

For the past few years, I've been making a Christmas gift list just to make sure I will be able to buy each one a gift specially our godchildren which numbers are more than the count of both me and my husband's fingers (hand and feet) yes too many to count ( but some of them I have not seen for many years now. But most are children in our church and in my hometown where we regularly spend Christmas thus it is a must that we have gifts to give them come Christmas day.

Included in the list are also our nephews and nieces. The list can be so long but I find my self happy when I see each name with a gift.

But I do not know though this year. I haven't even opened my list which is saved on my office computer. Although in my heart I want to buy them all a gift,I really do not know if we can.

Only if I or my husband earn as much as those in Network Architect Jobs and money is the least of our worries, for sure I'll buy them all what they want :)

Anyways, I am not giving up, I know my God is able and that HE can bless me so I can bless others too. It's only November and I still have plenty of time to PRAY and to WORK.hehe!

Perfect Basket gift

and friends knew that giving me coffee will make me happy and grateful. Starbucks or not, it doesn't matter.

Whenever  someone asks me if what pasalubong I want, i always say coffee from that country. Yesterday I got one hazelnut vanilla flavored coffee and I'm one happy person last night when I had my first cup. I specifically told my husband that, that coffee is only for me! (damot no?)

It's so good when your friends knew what you want no? Oh well, I do the same , When I give gifts, it is very important for me to know what they  love or like so they won't be disappointed and I won't feel unappreciated, even if it is only small and cheap one.

Why am I writing this? it's 73 days before Christmas and I am letting my friends know what I want through my blog posts..hehe! for my blogging friends, share yours too through your  posts and I'll check them! Gifts for Mom

It's mothers day next Sunday! Have you bought your mom a gift? what did you buy? If you haven't, what are you planning to buy your mom? Flowers? Cake? Is till do not have any idea what I will give my Nanay, if she'll be here with us I might take her out na lang but if she's in the province, might send her a card.

gift for the husband

With all the love I get from my husband, especially in times when hormones are hitting me so bad that makes me the most unloveliest woman in the whole world- he deserve more than a pat in the back, I think he deserve a real gift. And I hope in time for our wedding anniversary this month I can get him to choose from G shock Watches or the least I can do buy him any brand of watch, I know he'll appreciate it.

But then, with or without a gift, I am assured of his love for me :)

I can't imagine how happy he would be though if he opens a box with any of this inside:)

God's best gift ever

Time flies so fast. It's my birthday month already and I am turning a year older next week :) and hopefully wiser.

As I have said before I am not expecting any gift from the husband because of the many expenses we had for the last few months. And I am not bothered at all. I know some who treat it as a big deal, it's as if the husband is obliged to give gift no matter what.

I actually am used to not receiving gifts from my husband (especially those romantic gifts) because when he does give gift he make sure it's something practical, something I can use and will not just wither like expensive flower arrangement or sort of. The only romantic gift I ever got from him was the engagement ring (which for sure is not cubic zirconia rings which looks like the real diamond) during my birthday and months before we got married.

And if I remember it right, in our five years of marriage, he only gave me flowers twice and both were not the pricey ones I tell you.

But that doesn't make me less happy and contented as his wife. Not at all. More than the material gifts this world can give,I am receiving it from him everyday.And for that I'll be forever thankful.

Being married to God's servant means not having all the luxury you want, not eating out on fancy restaurants every weekend, no extravagance surprises on your anniversaries but... you wake up each morning happy and satisfied. You wake up each morning knowing that he loves you more than anything else. You wake up each morning with the assurance that you are the only one he love and will ever love in his whole life.

Guess what? and your guess is as good as mine.

Birthday or Valentine gift

My birthday happens on the same month that we celebrate Valentines day. And ever since we got married and even when we were still engaged I never get any valentine's gift because my birthday comes first and that's pretty fine with me. I never had a problem with that. It really doesn't matter.

This year, I know for sure I'll never get any material gift for my birthday because of the all time gift I had last Christmas and because we have a bigger project this year. But I am considering the trip (mission's conference to Singapore) as a birthday gift to me also. We're going a day after my birthday.

However, looking at Redenvelope.com just a while ago, made me wish I could ask for even one personalized gift for my birthday. But it's okay, I'll make sure I'll get one next year when all the major major expenses are not so major anymore. :)

Special gift to husband

Two days before Christmas and we are still wrapping gifts (well, the husband is) because obviously I'm here typing :) and aside from gifts to wraps, we still have few gifts to buy.

Today, the husband is getting his gift from me too but he's buying it or I might come if I feel better. This would be the most expensive gift I will be buying for him and he's more than thankful. We can't even compare our First Anniversary gifts from this one.

I do not know what's his gift for me this Christmas but I'm hoping I'll be surprised and that I will love it also but if not, as we always say it's the thought that counts.

How about you guys? Are you done with your gifts? Or rushing also like us :)

Gifts for Christmas

Guess what? haven't bought any gifts for our godchildren yet, not even a piece. I do not even have a list of who and what to buy for each one of them which I usually does on Christmas season. I have few books to give but that's for friends. I do not know but the lazy bug hit me plus the fact that our finances won't let us give gifts to everyone this time which saddened me because if ever this will be the first Christmas that I won't be giving gifts to my godchildren. I still hope I can buy gifts for my small nephews before Christmas day because I know they would want something to open on Christmas eve.

If only I'm rich, I'll buy them everything they would ask me during Christmas time, I'll even buy my nephew a big car with some good ATV Parts because for sure he will love it!

But the reality is I am not rich and I can only buy him a toy car which I know he'll also love as long as he has something from me.

Oh Christmas, why are you giving me stress?

Riding toys - a nice birthday gift!

My youngest nephew is turning one also on September. The husband designed his birthday invitation with Barney and Pooh (his favorite so far) and this Saturday I am going to Divisoria (flea market) with his mom to buy some birthday stuff, items for the loot bags, for the pabitin and for the prizes. It would be exciting and fun birthday I am sure

But, I also want to give him a riding toy, kids love to play with wheels and cars. power wheels from kidswheel.com are so nice! I would really love to give them to my 2 young nephews. And I am sure he would love this :

Birthday Gift Ideas for husband

I still have 19 days to go to scout for a nice gift to my dear husband. Of course I am still hoping for the Ipod, if I can’t buy him that now probably I’ll save that for this Christmas. Good thing my husband doesn’t read this blog often otherwise I’ve already spoiled the surprise.

Do you have any birthday gift ideas for a husband? The kind of stuff that will not cost me my whole life but something he’ll appreciate. A polo shirt is a good one. What about a long sleeve polo and then I’ll look around for mens ties and see If I can find a good match. He can use that to church I guess.

Why is it so hard to look for a good gift to men, the very opposite of us girls.
