Ten things to do on one rainy lazy afternoon

It’s raining hard right now and I’m home, I was supposed to rest and get some sleep but I thought I’ll do that later, for the meantime I’m thinking of ten things to do on afternoon like this.

1. Blog-write something, grab opportunities, finish assignments, google
anything.

2. Play games in your mobile or play station or personal computer

3. Read a good book, if you have a bible then that’s the best book to read. I’m
in the book of Psalms right now and I find great strength in them.

4. Talk to God, yes like tell him what’s inside you.

5. Chat with a friend through YM or Skype.

6. Flip through the furniture catalog and think of your dream furniture. I love
that! Sometimes I even look to big houses and cars in the net and magazines
and dream that someday I’ll own one like that.

7. Have a good coffee with your hubby (if you’re both home together)

8. Watch a good movie or your favorite TV shows.

9. Sleep (that’s what I’m doing later)

10. Lastly blog again-ahehe! It’s one of the best thing to do, right?

Emotional Eater

I know I have weight problem that goes with me being PCOS I guess. And I admit I am an emotional eater (too bad), People here openly joke about me getting even bigger despite of a big problem. I don’t know why, I tend to eat when I think too much, when I am sad or when I am mad. Got to change that attitude or else I’ll be big for the rest of my life.

The biggest motivation I had now to lose extra weight is our desire to have kids the soonest possible time, that’s why I am in the look out of diet pill that works. Because you see out there in the market there are lots of pills but it’s always best to have the diet pill that work for you. I found consumerpricewatch.net so helpful, they gathered the most popular diet pills in the market and ranked them, not only that they also reviewed the price and the best place online to buy those pills. But still, I should consult my OB before embarking to new diet pill again and of course have to exert some efforts in diet and exercise too.

Thank you LORD

Our 5 day ordeal is over, I didn't blog about it, we went through tough times for the last five days and I'm so thankful God was with us, with me and that HE has been the source of my strength physically, emotionally and spiritually.

I am grateful to all the people who showed us their concerned and to all who prayed for us.

I knew in my heart God will answer our prayer today and He did. Claris is home now with us.

Let's do our part

I am thankful that my parents despite of being in their old age are still strong, healthy and yes Alzheimer’s free. Of course there are instances where they felt weak and sick but praise God there has been no serious illness.

Remember my post about our visit to home for the aged last year? I can still feel how hard it is for those old guys, most of them are inflicted with Alzheimer- which according to Wikipedia is a terminal disease with no know cure. I can still recall how an old lady repeatedly narrated her stories to us. My heart really went for them and right there and then I cried. As I said before, I was caught off guard. I’m looking forward to our next visit there this year.

I know we can all do something about it, maybe at your point of view is too small but when a community is gathered together then that’s something like the Alzheimer's Memory Walk for instance.

Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is inviting us all to join hands in raising awareness about the disease. They are doing a memory walk and calling on all volunteers whatever your age is to participate. It is just a walk but it is something.

Confused? need direction..PRAY

Praying when you need direction

"Should I get married? And if I should, whom should I marry and when?" "What should I do with my life?" "Should I take that job and relocate to another city?" "Should I buy a car or just lease one? And if I buy a car, should it be a new car or a used car?" "Should I leave my present job and go start my own business venture?" "What career path should I embark on?" "What course should I take when I go to college?"

Decisions and choices - choices and decisions. The list just goes on and on in life. We make hundreds of them every day. Just go to a restaurant for a meal and start reviewing the menu! Clearly we are a people in great need of direction. The search for direction in life never ends.

Many in our society spend a lot of time and resources just trying to get some direction about where to go and what to do in life. Millions turn to their daily newspapers - not for sports or the stock market but for their daily horoscopes. Others turn to fortune tellers or crystal ball gazers. Still others dial up psychic hot lines! Just to get a glimpse into the future. And then there's God's directions and there's prayer!

The good news is that the resources of prayer is unlimited and God's direction is available to those who seek it. A pastor was starting a new ministry. The night before the launch, he gathered together a small group of believers who would form the core families of the church. Here's what he prayed:

"Lord, this church belongs to you. It's not ours. Our desire is to do what You want us to do and to be who You want us to be. You know the people You long to reach through this church. We place ourselves in Your hands and we long to be used by You." This is a good prayer for direction. It contains intentional yieldedness: "Our desire is to do what You want us to do and to be who You want us to be."

You can't go wrong praying this way. Such prayer acknowledges God's sovereign lordship in our lives. It expresses a heart that seeks to bring glory to God: "We place ourselves in Your hands and we long to be used by You." Think about it. There is no better place to be than in the caring hands of God.

Children of Hope

Last July 19, we had a birthday celebration for our " Children of Hope" (Batang Pagasa) urban poor kids ministry, some of these kids never had a birthday celebration in their life, It's so fulfilling seeing them happy and playful. We only had 3 areas from Makati City, Barangay Singkamas, Pio Del Pilar and Arellano. Less than 50 kids came for the celebration. The remaining 2 areas San Antonio Village (Makati) and Maricaban (Pasay) will be next on September. We cannot accomodate them all at one time. These kids are being fed every Saturdays, we also read to them bible stories. This is a ministry of
IT Philippines in partnership with our church LJBC Global Ministry Inc.

Thank you Grace (a fellow N@Wie) for all the stuff toys you sent! the kids were so happy!

If someone out there reading my blog would want to help, you may contact the International Teams and inquire about the Fishnets' children of hope. or you may also contact our church at 632 556-4239.

A possible Branson Vacation?

I want that!! I would love to experience that!!

Yes, I want a Branson Missouri vacation. Who doesn’t especially if you’ve been working so hard right? And more especially if the packages are so irresistible.

Like the Branson vacation packages for example. See? They offer a platinum package for only $475 per couple with all these included!

A 3 Days/2 Nights stay at Welk Resort Hotel, this hotel is a first class destination resort with a live 2,300-seat theatre, hotel, and restaurant. Wow! that’s quite big.
A two (2) adult tickets to Grand Jubilee show, this is a fast-paced, two-hour musical journey and I’m sure the hubby will enjoy this!,
A $30 worth Red Lobster/Olive Garden Gift Card,
A Coupon Book with $1,500 worth of savings and
A $50 Tanger Outlet Shopping Certificate!

How I wish I have the passport and the visa now, but hey, dreaming is not bad so I dream big dreams as I often mention here in my blog.

And what more? They also can help you in your lodging needs for they offer a lot of good properties and inns to stay to when you’re there. And when you are there you’ll have plenty of things to do, visit museums, like the famous “Titanic”. I’m sure I’ll visit this one if ever. I am big titanic fan.

You can also experience some thrills in their rides, go kart trucks and do some spelunking. Oh and for those addicted to shopping, you’ll never run out of stores in Branson, there are the Shoppes at Branson Meadows, the Coffelt Country Crossroads and many more.

So, do you want a vacation? Why not visit Branson?

On losing weight

No, I will not try to be a diet guru or expert here because I know I am not, I have tried several weight loss programs long ago and I failed, take note my dear readers, I failed, not the program. The most successful I think was the south beach diet stage I went through when I was about to get married. And again it is not about the program it’s about me. I succeeded because I was so determined to lose weight at that time. I wanted to feel pretty and light on my wedding day.

Now I am wondering, does Fentraphen work? Or will it work for me? They said it is an all natural weight loss supplement. Are there any bloggers who have tried this before? Because you see, right now I am trying to commit my self into losing weight again, for the nth time I know. But hey! I need to lose weight, If I want to get pregnant then I have to be as determined as when I was about to marry.

I’m caught between taking weight loss supplements or diet or diet and exercise plus weight loss supplement or just plain diet and exercise? Which do you think is more effective?

To my fellow bloggers

Thanks so much Cee for this!

I really am thankful that I have online friends, It's like they've been a part of my world already and I treasure them, I enjoy reading their blogs, reading about their day, about their sons and daughters, about their struggles and victories. I learned a lot through them and I hope they all learn something from me too. So to all my blogging friends, this is all for you!

Joyful and blessed

Busy Saturday indeed, though it is expected, because I never had a free Saturday for ages now. Saturday is always ministry time for me, I really have no time to clean and do some household chores on Saturdays, as a matter of fact until now our sinks still a mess. Hope I can still find time to clean it later.

So what happened today? Well, we woke up earlier than our usual waking up time on weekdays, we had the morning devotion at 6:30 and then after that we prepared for the “Women In Revival” that was held here too. It’s amazing how God works in the lives of the women in the church and am so blessed, so encourage and rejuvenated just like what I prayed for. It lasted till 4:00 in the afternoon. I was tired but full of joy. Our speaker Pastora Rachel Sanchez from the River of God church prayed for those women who are asking for a child and yes I raised my hand, I stand and was so happy to be prayed for. She also talked on how important the women are to God, she mentioned the book of Joel where in the last days the Lord will pour out his spirit to all, man or woman, kid or adult. It was so wonderful to see women hearing confirmation from the Lord, some were given comfort and some were given visions.

After that, I rested a bit and got myself a new manicure and a foot spa! Yup! Well, I know I needed that. It felt so good.

And then we practiced for worship tomorrow. We’ve given all our energies to the highest level today. But as I said a while ago, I’m happy, I have joy in my heart and I’m thankful.

Thankful Thursday

Psalm 3
A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom.
1 O LORD, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!

2 Many are saying of me,
"God will not deliver him."

3 But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.

4 To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill.

5 I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.

6 I will not fear the tens of thousands
drawn up against me on every side.

7 Arise, O LORD!
Deliver me, O my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.

8 From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.

***************************************************************************

I just wanna thank you Lord for I know you hear my prayers..

Thank you for being my shield...

Thank you for the conviction of the Holy Spirit

Thank you for always always reminding me that your love is enough.

Thank you Lord.

Too lazy

Have so many things to blog tonight and yet I am too lazy to do it, have to post pictures from the "Children of Hope" birthday celebration, from Nicole's manila zoo adventure and some thoughts that has been lingering in my mind.

I just don't wanna do it tonight. I'm sleeping early because I slept 4:30 last night, and no it's not because I blog and hop, I went to Bulacan to see Irene.

And I was tired , emotionally drained and physically tired. And hubby is not cheering me up in fact he's adding up to my whining right now, been asking him not play PS tonight and instead read or do quiet time or worship but to no avail.

I wish I could be somewhere else where I can be rejuvenated and strengthened. Time to go to la la la land.

In search of

A laptop, how I wish It’s for me but no it’s for an officemate. She can no longer rely on her desktop and it failed her many times resulting to her using mine sometimes. So yesterday we spent hours in looking and searching for the perfect laptop for her. Right now the search has been narrowed to two; the HP mini notebook and the Acer Aspire One. Which do you think is best? She particularly like the white color of the ACER but then she wants the 2GB memory of the HP.
But if it’s me, I’ll go for Toshiba, I like it so much. I’m putting it to my wish list. Hopefully someday I’ll have it too.

What a friend I've found

What a friend I've found
Closer than a brother
I have felt your touch
More intimate than lovers

Jesus, Jesus
Jesus, friend forever

What a hope I've found
More faithful than a mother
It would break my heart
To ever lose each other

Written by Martin Smith ©1996 Curious? Music UK

God spoke to me through this song last Sunday, it's simply amazing. I am so grateful that I have Jesus as a friend, a friend who will not desert me, even through my darkest days. I am so grateful that he knows what I need and he knows when I need it. he knows that at that moment I am struggling with friendship and right there and then He said " I am your friend forever"

Love you Jesus!

LOADED

Last weekend, we’re not only loaded with ministry works but with pictures and videos too and that is the reason why I am all set to learn something about video editing and uploading and captioning. Of course so I can share all these videos in the world of you tube. But if in spite all the efforts I’m exerting and find my self in bewilderment I know where to turn to. Video Caption Corporation can do the work for me, closed captioning or offline captioning or even sub-titling in German, Spanish and French, they can do it for you.

I wish I could encourage hubby to have a look at it too but for now he is still into music and I can’t do anything about it. He also loves photography, I can very well sense in the way he is taking pictures. A friend recently commented that he has an artistic eye. I'll be uploading all the pictures in our facebook account tommorrow.

I know I married an artist.

My "leave" day

I was “on leave” today. (big grin) I was supposed to go to;

1.) SSS office in Manila to apply for an ID
2.) NBI in Carriedo
3.) Mandaluyong City Hall for my 2 nephews birth certificate

I only did number 3. I was disappointed not because I only did one of those three scheduled task but because of these;

1. The tedious work we have to do so we can change my nephew’s surname. I wish I could make things easy for them especially for their mom but obviously all I can do is to help them on the processing of papers which I guess will take some time to finish.
2. Have no money the whole day, only when I dropped by at the office was I able to get the cash in my drawer.
3. I was hurt by a comment from someone ( I know I should not mind her)

But in spite of all those mentioned above, I’m still in light spirit because of these;

1. I successfully found a good and reliable site about digital signage .
2. I was able to do grocery and mind you I was “green” minded because I brought with me a shopping bag! Time to let go of the many plastic bags.
3. We had dinner at yellow cab (a birthday treat for Ramon courtesy of J-mie)
4. I downloaded Firefox just now! Love it!

So there goes my day though It’s not over yet. I will still be up for at least 2 more hours. But for those who are going to bed now..goodnight!

I'm missing them

I’m missing my parents, had a chat with my cousin last Friday, she went home to province last weekend and had the chance to see my parents, and I missed them more now. I feel a bit guilty for not seeing them for almost 2 months now. That’s why in my last post, the four things meme, I write Nueva Ecija in the place where I’d rather be right now. I miss them so much. You see my parents are in their old age now, my father is 71 and my mother is turning 69 this October. I just don’t know why but they opted to stay in our house in the province, they can actually live with my two sisters who have their own place here in Metro Manila. I wish to see them next month or sooner. I want to spend more time with them while they are still strong. But of course I will still be there for them when it’s time for them to use incontinence supplies of products for old ones.

I pray they will still be able to see their grandchildren in me, oh my...... I don’t even want to entertain the thought that they won’t see me give birth anymore. I would like my child to feel the grandma and grandpa love that was bestowed to all of my nephews and nieces.

I wish I am pregnant now. Oh I wish I have a baby now. I wish I’m home now.

ARE YOU SO BUSY?

I don’t want to be so busy
That I have no more time to hold hands with R
I don’t want to be so busy
That I have no more time for my old parents
I don’t want to be so busy
That I won’t be able to witness some momentous events with my niece and nephews
I don’t want to be so busy
That I have no more time to chat with my siblings
I don’t want to be so busy
That I have no more time for friends
I don’t want to be so busy
That I have no more time to reflect on God’s grace
I don’t want to be so busy
That I have no more time to laugh
I don’t want to be so busy
That I have no more time to play
I don’t want to be so busy
That I have no more time to those who needs me
I don’t want to be so busy
That I have no more time to do what I love to do
I just don’t want to be so busy.

Are you busy? I hope you’re not my dear friends, take time to reflect, take time to call someone, take time to chat with your friends, take time to play and pray, take time to rest, take time to travel and visit places like Orlando golf courses if you can. Just take time.

I don’t know what driven me to write this, maybe because I am currently missing a friend and all she has to say was “she is busy”. Ugh. Like she has no time for unimportant talks. Ugh again. I wish I am not that busy. Well, I know sometimes I get too busy with work but I hope I don’t ignore a friend who needs me.

A strong cup of coffee award

Thanks Vikki for this one of a kind award. I'm flattered!

And I wanna pass this award to speial bloggers who "as quoted by vikki" can write some mean content. I assure you their blogs are worth visiting.

Mommy talks

I am not yet a mommy, but I pray I’ll be one someday. I know there are couples out there that opted not to have kids, some couples chose not to have for the first 5 years of their marriage like my friend but some chose not to have at all. That’s their prerogative anyway.

But I love to be a mommy, I want to be able to give birth and see my own kids, I want to be able to be a part of someone’s life and be needed like they needed nothing else but me. I know it’s not easy, being pregnant for nine moths, the uneasiness, the headaches and discomforts and then the pain of giving birth but I know too that it’s all worth it when you see your baby for the first time. Oh the joys of motherhood, I hope I will be able to experience it someday.

Of course it’s not all joys, as I quote one of my fellow bloggers said that her kids keeps her sane and they make her insane too sometimes. It is a superwoman task, especially if you are a working mom. But I think there is a going trend right now for mommies to give up their careers, some even has high paying job but gave it up just to take care of their kids and be a hands on mom. I salute them all. Children must be the first priority of every mother in this world. That’s why they are called moms.

Guess what

I just got home and I'm sitting here in front of the computer agad..I was supposed to attend the birthday party of my other boss but I declined. I'm too tired and I'm too weak, I said I will just rest.
So shouldn't I be resting now? Nah..I have yet to finish some tasks.
Of course I'll take a break later, will attend prayer meeting downstairs.
Qouting Matthew 6 :33, it says
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you."
and I'm excited to make a blog for our church..yepee! I know..I know, my site still needs that new look and I have yet to finish it, my hands are still full plus I still don't feel well, but hey! I'm just excited to start another project.

In my ears again?

I’ve so much to blog yesterday but I just don’t have the strength to do it, I wanted to join Aggie in her AWTK # 3, Oh well, I’m still joining. I hope to finish that half year round up this week end. I still have so many tags to do and of course I plan to do them all also this weekend. That is if I’m feeling well and good, because you see I am still in pain, both ears are now inflamed (again for the nth time) and it’s really painful, I think it’s the reason why I’m having occasional fever at night, infection maybe. Hubby has been telling me to go to an EENT already. I’ll go if the pain doesn’t go away in two days. That’s a promise.

I wonder what’s causing the pain? Was it a pimple? Because before this happens it will be so itchy hence the use of cotton buds everyday which is a no no according to EENT. If it’s a pimple, how I wish it’s in the more visible part of the face so I can just put a pimple cream and then it will be gone. Easy.

On a lighter note, I’ve been reading a lot of Christian blogs lately, I started joining the thankful Thursday meme and met some Christian women on line. It feels good. At least I was able to do devotions and read words of God while I’m on my computer. How I wish though I have more time to read and meditate some more.

In this life we have to acknowledge that we cannot do anything if we are apart from God.

Yen's QOTW 24

An appeal to my blog friends

I don't know if I made the right decision of buying a domain and then transferring this blog into it. Would it be easier if I just started another one with the new domain?

I find it hard advising everyone on my link list to change/update my URL.

I tried to visit as many as I can and tell them about it but guess what? dunno if they are all busy or they just don't wanna do it, or they simply chose to ignore my message.

well, thanks to those who updated theirs. That's very well appreciated.

I'm just so disappointed right now, I can't change how this blog look because of the widgets installed, I am not a techie girl and it's dis appointing me to the max. I am in the brink of just give it a new look and then start all over again, start with new link list and shout box and counter and all.

So my dear blog friends, I appeal to you all, would you be all so kind to me and change that URL in your link list to this new domain? sige na please, promise I'll visit your site often and will even leave comments. (mag makaawa ba)

What Love and Marriage Really Mean

“Let me be there , let me find you. let me clean you up and hold you for a while, let me give you the drugs to ease your pain as you slip away. let me be your husband and love you till the end.”

KELLY who lost his wife ANDREA days ago to cancer.

Read their wonderful story here, but let me warn you, have a hankie or tissue beside you for you will surely be in tears.

Facing the giants of our lives

Last Sunday night, we had the chance to watch “facing the giants” it was talk of the town in our church since last week. I know it has touched many lives in our youth and I just can’t wait to see it, so finally we did.

It is a Christian movie and I will recommend it again and again for everyone to see.

I was deeply touched of the coach faith in God especially in times of troubles. In his lowest moment he called on help and cried to the Lord.

Hubby and I held each others hands. The feeling of “wanting to have the baby” is so real to us, because we are on the same situation.

At the end of the movie, I was inspired, encouraged, revived.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD.

Here are some of the quotes that caught my heart;

“Your attitude is like the aroma of your heart. If your attitude stinks, it means your heart’s not right.”

"I've resolved to give God everything I've got and leave the results up to him."

and this one...

”If the Lord never gives us children, will you still love Him?”

I asked hubby the same question and he said

"yes, I will still love Him, serve Him and praise Him." and I know I'll do the same.

Manic Monday

What do you do when you are feeling very sad or depressed?

- Eat, go out and eat again, buy something that would cheer me up, cry, eat again and eventually open my heart to GOD and tell HIM how I feel. I would then open the bible and listen to inspirational songs and pray.

Who was your first crush?

- I don't exactly remember but I think it's one of my childhood friends, our neighboor maybe or was it my classmate from second grade?...

If given a chance to skip work for a day (without repercussions), how would you spend the entire day?

- Sleep till noon, eat and then do something productive in the afternoon..probably some pending stuff I've yet to finish for the ministry.

Note:

First time to join this meme and I'm late pa, anyways, it's still Monday in some part of the world. If you want to join, click here.

We love you Nicole!

Our currently favorite godchild will be celebrating her first birthday on the 16th, initially we thought of giving her a simple party, some balloons, loot bags and games for the kids they will invite. All of us in the group (young professionals) will bring in food or any sort of to help the parents in the expenses, after all these two are our church missionaries. I volunteered to do the invitations of course, I have made several invitations for the past years, including 2 of my friends wedding invitations, my nephews and nieces birthday invites, even dedication invites, never tried doing Halloween invitations though.

The youngest flower girl and the cutest one

I have in mind already the invitation design I am to make for her party but just last week they decided to put off the party. We opted to just take Nicole out, probably take her to Manila Zoo because she appreciates the animals so much. I’m sure it’s gonna be one fun day again. Advance happy first birthday Nicole.

Phil. 4 :13

Should I say Happy Monday morning everyone if our morning is not a happy one? especially for hubby. She was kinda pissed with her younger sister who lives with us. I rather not write the details less I'll be mad too.

But I refuse not to be happy today. I chose to be cheerful and smile and let God take care of all the worries of the day. I know there are " giants" out there but I'm ready to face them!

I will remember these words today

" I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me " Phil. 4 :13

So it's a happy Monday morning then.. May we all have a wonderful week ahead of us.

back to the new look plan

Oh yes, I’m still up. I’m done uploading our pictures from yesterday trip and I’m back to “changes” work. Changes means I am planning on a new look of this blog, I know it should not be that hard, I browsed and browsed last night and saw some beautiful templates layout there and the good thing is it’s free. After the domain name expenses, I am not ready to shell out another for this blog, not yet at this time and besides I’m still saving for an HDMI wall plate.

So I’ll be having a free template, but still undecided of the design, have chosen and saved a blue, 3 column design and actually tried it last Friday night and thought it was good, so what’s keeping it on hold? I realized that I will lose the widgets I have on my sidebar now and will only be able to transfer the links. That would mean a lot of work to be done. Deep sigh there.

Having said that, have to go now and look for more template designs and for more tutorials in installing them.

Goodnight everyone!

Unveiling Sonya's not so Secret Garden

Here are some of the pictures I took yesterday, as promised I’ll post them here. Of course credits are not all mine because I have to give in to hubby who I admit was able to take more beautiful photos than I am. This reminds me that he has been asking for new micro sd for his picture taking pleasure.I’m gonna post the lunch we had first and then more of the garden later.

This is the centerpiece for each table. Cut flowers and they are also from their garden together with all the greens that they served.

We were first served with freshly harvested lettuce and arugula topped with mango and watermelon, It comes with cucumber, nuts and some more toppings. Their SUPER SECRET SALAD DRESSING is amazingly good!

The pasta came in second, it was served with two choices of sauces, the sun dried tomato and the chicken cream with mango plus a lot more toppings like salmon belly, shitake mushroom, black olives and grated parmesan cheese.Didn’t have the chance to taste the chicken cream but hubby said it is nice also.

We forgot to take pictures of the desserts, we enjoyed the banana rolls with sesame and jackfruit, it was so good! And of course their famous “smashingly sinful homemade chocolate cake was also yummy” . The picture above was taken when we went to the panaderia.

It’s all worth it, it’s eat all you can so you can just request for some more as long as you’re not full. Not bad for 610.00 per person no?

Picture! Picture!

Here are some of the pictures I took yesterday at Sonya's Garden, some of course are taken by hubby and those most likely are the beautiful ones.

Just a note

Just got back from our Sonyas Garden trip for today, actually a while ago pa, we went straight to practice for tomorrow's Sunday service that's why I'm only able to go online now.Hubby is now sleeping, he is dead tired, he drove us to and fro and then he has to lead the practice pa.

I have so many pictures! Sonyas is so nice, so serene, so quiet. I'm sure you will love it there. I'll post them tomorrow night.

For the meantime I have to go sleep na rin because I've been up from 6 AM today and to think I slept at 3 AM last night. The "change" of the blog look is put on hold muna until I have time again.

Goodnight everyone! Hope you all go to church tomorrow and spend time with God.
xoxo

Changes

I'm trying to give this site a new look, I'm quite nervous because I know I can ruin this if I'm not careful, as I ahve told you I know nothing about html and I'm not a techie girl either.
I'm surfing blogger templates right now and I just hope and pray that I'll be successful in installing the new template.
So why am I posting this, just so you know what happen just in case you don't see me anymore. haha!
Kaya ko to!

Excited for Saturday

"Thank God it's Friday"

Favorite Yahoo Messenger status in the office every Friday. For the office working girls like me, it's also one of our favorite days right? end of workweek eh.

Last day of the 2nd week of July, how time flies indeed. next thing we know it's August already. There is nothing special for today except that office hours is shorter (now, I think that is something special!)

But tomorrow..is different..We're going to Tagaytay or more specifically "Sonya's Garden". We're having lunch there so I'm quite excited for that. My good friend Vhon and J-mie want that place as wedding venue so we have to go and try for their food and ask for wedding packages also.

In the afternoon, we will watch Rommel Guevarra's concert in strumms, busy day again tomorrow, but that's fine with me. For now I am enjoying my busy Saturdays.

The sad part of it is that I will have no time to blog and visit my friends blog, so if you don't see me in the blogoshpere this weekend, please do understand.

hay, sana 5 o'clock na...

Thankful Thursday

I stumbled upon this today and I was encouraged to join because I've so many things to be thankful for, besides I usually don't stand up on our Friday prayer meetings to tell people how I was blessed by Him on that particular week. Here, the whole world will know what I am thankful for and I hope to do this on regular basis.

So for this week :
- I'm thankful for my new domain name, "godsbestgift.com" - everything I have, all that I am are Gods gift, so does my blog.

- Thank you for the internet connection at home

- Thank you for my sister Rina-for opening her home to Irene.
- For the new Harvest Moon game I've yet to explore.

- For the overflowing blessings of food at the center

- For my hubby: for trying his best to wake up early in the morning to prepare breakfast.
I just want to thank you LORD for everything. If you want to give thanks too, click here.
