Why I love Friday night?

One thing I love about Fridays is that I can stay up late as in really really late at night and do some ME time because I don't worry of waking up early in the morning coz it's Saturday!! I love waking up late on Saturdays. I love the thought of not going to work actually. :) and ME time means, I can surf as long as I want or should I say as long as the our internet connections allows me to. It can also mean I can just watch TV the whole night or read and finish a good book (which I seldom do now).

Anyways, since this is one of those Friday night..oh I stand corrected-It's already Saturday morning. Time check 3:33 AM.

So far, I already posted from my through the rain and made to worship blog. Check it out if you want to.

I checked mine and hubby's facebook account.

I checked some money making sites only I was disappointed. I see tough times with regards to finances coming up. I have been thinking of doing any sidelines so we can make it through until all the debts are settled. As a matter of fact I am thinking of doing sales though I don't have any sales training. What items are good to sell kaya at this time?

I also checked my emails and I am still dropping cards.

See what a ME time can do?

SF- a fake sky?

This is the sky inside "The Venetian Hotel" in Macau. It's very real but yes it's unreal. The time when we took the photo is I think around past 11:00 PM. I am so amazed at the beauty of this hotel. So grand!

One day rest

Told my self from my last post that I need a rest and guess what? I did yesterday. Woke up not feeling so well and decided I can’t (read: I don’t want to) go to office. So I just stayed home and sleep and ate the whole day. So that’s completely rest for me.

I didn’t even get up and bothered to check my e-mails and my blogs. So yes, I didn’t do any single drop of entrecard too. Sorry guys. I took the time to really rest.

Well, I am back at the office now and am back to dropping. I’m currently writing the 2nd part of our Macau-Hong kong trip hoping I’ll be able to post it soon.

See you all in your blogs!

Restless and weight gain

I have yet to post more about our Macau and Hong Kong trip. My hands are still full and I haven’t had the time to take a full rest since January of this year.

Last weekend was even more hectic. We went to Divisoria with two of my friends getting married this year. We scouted for cheap bridal gowns and some wedding items. J-mie and Vhon bought small bottles for their “message in a bottle” invitation. And then we went to Quezon City to check the venue for Grace’s wedding on May 23.

I don’t know but I am thinking of giving up my job again (for the nth time). If only I am debt free, it would not be that hard. I wish it would be October soon.

After the Fishnets meeting yesterday, I really thought of going full time in the ministry but not yet at this time. Sooner.

Well, I am not complaining because you see even If I work too hard and don’t get much sleep and rest I am still getting bigger. And again for the nth time I know I need to lose weight for the sake of my health and I have to attend two wedding this year. Gosh I can’t imagine how I will look with all those formal dresses I am going to wear. Just looking at our recent pictures in Macau and HK makes me want to discard all those pictures of mine. Mind you, we have tons of pictures from that recent trip (which also reminded me and hubby to get memory upgrade).

I really need to do something about my weight. Well, for the start I limited my rice intake and am currently forcing my self to eat more fruits. I still have to finish the orange I have in my table now. I wish there is an easy way.

Our MACAU trip

Day 1- February 9.

We left house at around 7:00 AM although our flight is at 12:55 PM. Travel time to Clark airport is approximately 2 hours so we were there at around 10:30 AM. Why we chose Clark? We were able to get a very cheap airfare to Macau last Christmas. Our ticket cost only 450.00 (ALL-IN) Clark-Macau and that’s for the two of us na.

Travel Tax is 1620.00 and Terminal fee is 600.00

just before boarding

Checking in is a breeze, there were few people at the airport. We boarded on time and arrived at Macau International Airport 10 minutes advance.

From the airport to Hotel Royal, we took a taxi which cost us MOP70.00 exchange rate at that time I think was MOP1.00- Php 6.20.

The Hotel we stayed in is nice and considering we are there for a conference, the organizer got a good package with breakfast and dinner included.

checking in

our room

We went out immediately right after we brought in our bags in our room. Our first destination? We ate somewhere along the way going to San Malo (hope I got it right) and on our way to ruins of St. Paul. There are lots of store there, hubby went into one electronic shop where he saw playstation 3 and Ipod being sold at cheap price. But I think it’s cheaper in Hongkong. By the way, along that road you can find lot’s of street foods. You’ll get to taste also all of the stuff they sell for free. Everyone gives out free taste.

Resume of the conference is at 7:00 PM. So we hurriedly went back to the hotel because dinner is at 6 to 7 only. Here are some pictures of the conference too.

After the conference, we went to the famous "Venetian" hotel and casino. I was so amazed at the beauty of this place. Take a look at these pictures :)

So that goes our first day :)

Twa's my birthday!!!

5 more hours to go and we're off to Macau. So I'm leaving you a post because I don't know when I'll be able to go online during the conference.

It was my birthday yesterday and there was nothing grand in it but God showed me how faithful HE is to me all this years.

First , He has given me parents that supports me all the way in all my decisions and endeavors. I am grateful that they understood the life I have chosen with the Lord. The very recent was when we are raising funds for the trip, my Father offered us money though I didn't ask for it. Not all are blessed with such wonderful set of parents and yes even my sisters supported us in anyway they can. God loves me so much so He blessed me with such a family.

Second, I am thankful for the friends who never forgets me. I am so much thankful for Michelle my cousin-friend who is like a sister to me. I have lots of good friends online and in real life. therefore I AM BLESSED.

and of course I AM BLESSED with a wonderful, loving and kind HUSBAND. I know I can be a good source of headache sometimes but he is just there always trying his best to understand me.

So, was it a happy birthday? yes..its a good one, no big celebrations but I have big BLESSINGS.

To GOD be all the glory!!

Photo Reminiscin

I am just feeling bit sentimental today (tonight) so i thought of posting pictures of me and hubby on our trips, getaways and happenings. Our digicam is only 10 month old and I realized if we just had one long before our wedding, we could have tons of together photos now. Anyways, I hope I don't bore you with all these pictures. I still have more in my PC and will try to post them one by one as the moods and time permits me.

You know what? looking at these pictures makes me realize that we as a couple has been to many trips and we feel so blessed considering we are not earning that much.

40 Tips for a better life (part 3)

here's the 3rd post for that 40 tips to a better life email I've got weeks ago. and just in case you want to read the first two just click here and here.

21. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
-I agree

22. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
-I know it is hard to forget the past especially the pains but it would help you a lot if you do.

23. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
-I'm so guilty of this.

24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
-and the Lord I guess

25. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?'
-

26. Forgive everyone for everything.
-really? I know we should but c'mon..that's easier said than done

27. What other people think of you is none of your business.
-Oh well,

28. GOD heals almost everything.
-not almost-EVERYTHING

29. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
-This is nice. I'll memorize this one

30. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
- I love this one!!!!it's very very true.but in the other hand, the pay you get from your job will somehow help you too in case you got sick. :)

Last 1o tips coming up soon!

Award,planner and swatch watches

Thanks Abelle for this award!

Untill now I still don't have that starbucks planner, instead they gave us a voucher for one cup of coffee as their way of apologizing daw for the delay. They say we can get it on March 20. I can't believe it! I am a bit disappointed because it’s my first starbucks planner sana. Well, I think I should wait until it’s finally available. At least I can still use it for the remaining 9 months. I know what to do next year.

For the meantime, take a look at this Swatch watches. They’re all cute. I miss wearing one. So nice for a cute girl no?

8 more days to go

and we’re off to Macau and Hongkong. I am excited because this would be many first for me and hubby.

Our first to attend such mission's conference. Our first trip out of the country.Hubby’s first airplane ride. Lol. And I am sure a lot more of first for us. I know we’ll have more bonding time together after the conference and I am excited for that too. During the conference we will be staying in Royal Selangor which I hope is as good as Westgate palace.

We still need some more funds but I worry no more. I’m sure God will provide.

My thoughts - in vitro fertilization

I know I wanted a kid, either a boy or a girl, it does not really matter. But I can only want them. I cannot make them. I mean only God can make that miracle. I am just a vessel so if He wants it I can be a mom and hubby can be a dad whether we like it or not.

But to take things in our own hands, we can not just do that. Just a while ago, hubby and I were talking about the Octuplets that was born last January 29 to a mother who has already six children and all those kids she has were conceive through in vitro fertilization.

Now, we don't have anything against in vitro but to do it when you are still single and to do it more than once. I don't think it's normal. We strongly believe that God wants children to be born in a family with a mom and a dad. So I guess the mom of the woman who gave birth to the octuplets is right- her daughter is obsessed with having kids and I pray I won't be like that. Oh yes, I am praying for a child, we are praying but we still leave it in the hands of the Lord.

I wonder how it is to be a mom to 14 children with no husband around.

Well, to each his own. I’m sure she’ll find ways to raise all those kids but I just hope she’ll be able to raise them as good and responsible citizen of this world.
