Busy working weekend

It's a working weekend again for me. And though it's a total boo I can't do anything about it. Anyways, the boss said it will be just half day tomorrow (or today because it's already 4:12 AM here)

I'll be having a very busy weekend for sure, beside working half day on a Saturday, we will also be having the first day of Sunday School Teachers training in our church which me and my friend spearheaded.

And Rudolf will start re-painting the walls of our soon to be home and start moving stuff Sunday afternoon. And yet here we are both not sleeping at this hour, his downstairs with our youth having their first prayer vigil for the year and me finishing some tasks abut will join them later. We both need vitamins to keep us going, Women and male enhancement for skin and resistance is what we need I guess.

Pictures uploaded

Am done uploading one album from our side trip to Singapore after the conference in facebook. I have tons of picture and that's only a part. Internet is so slow (or my PC) whatever :) so I'm stopping now and hope to resume uploading tomorrow night. I still have few December pictures which cousins and friends have been waiting for me to upload but I really do not have the patience now specially when net is this slow.

Anyways, if you want to see more pictures from our Singapore trip here is the link : singapore pictures.

And me? my day (or night) isn't over yet. I'd have to check these chromium supplements for my plans to go on a diet (again after 5 years) and see if they could be of help.

And of course bejeweled ad cityville is there waiting for me too :)

More Singapore pictures

If you attended a mission's conference where you have your soul taken cared of, your spirit renewed and refreshed, when after the conference you spend some holidays in a nice place with no stress (from work) and you feel so free - do you think you would still need best wrinkle cream or any beauty cream at all? when you feel so good and happy from the inside it reflects on the outside right?

I love looking at our pictures from Singapore because my smile is so real and I look great there, unlike with many of my previous photos. The wonders of a long vacation.

It's time

Guess what? Something major is happening to us again this week. And If you are a regular visitor of this blog, you would know that we are currently living in the church mission's house at the moment but is moving on to a "temporary-permanent" (at least for a year) place this week. The place is now vacant and Rudolf will start fixing it this week and we are expecting to spend the first night there Sunday or Monday.

It's only February and we are on our 2nd move, but at least this time it will be easier as most of our stuff are still in boxes. But then, even if it i, It is still not a pleasant thing to do. Good thing we do not have yet big furniture to move like leather sofas or couches. Although I've been looking at some modern sofas  in leather sectionals of farrelli.com and I tell you they're all so nice! Wish I could have them all in a big house of mine someday :)

Anyways, transporting the bed and some kitchen appliances will only be the hardest part of the move and I have few friends that offered their help so I guess that wouldn't be much of a problem.

Tomorrow, my husband will go there and start painting the walls but we haven't decided with the color yet. I like a soft green but I love ecru or a very very light yellow too.

I am making my self excited by imagining how our new "home" would look like when we finally settled there. But the adjustment and the work..I don't like it at all.

4 years 10 months

Few more months and we'll be celebrating half a decade already as husband and wife. It feels like we just got married last year though..:) We've been through a lot and we've battled many storms along the way and I know there are still struggles to win but we are confident not only with the love we have for each other bur more so with the LOVE from the Lord that keeps us together. :)

We thank God for giving us time together in Singapore, as you can see we had so much fun after the conference :) And we gained more weight so I guess have to go and read weight loss supplement reviews for our future references. lol... but seriously, we both need to lose weight.

Breakfast in YWCA and more

Who won't need fat burners when you have this for breakfast everyday for three days?

Breakfast in the YWCA Fort Canning Lodge in Singapore  includes : sausages, fried rice, noodles, egg, (boiled and fried) chicken nuggets, cereals, congee, milk, coffee, tea, fruits and veggie salads and lots of bread. I bring with me my camera every morning but always forget to take pictures of the buffet table. Sorry :(

  and this for lunch
and shrimp and crab chili (or chili crab) for dinner? Good thing we did a lot of walking while we were there. I think I lost some pounds :)

Good to be home

We're home since yesterday morning. Thank God we arrived safe and sound. It's good to be home. Nothing beats the warmth of your own bed and sheets. One thing I will miss though in Singapore is the clean air, it's like you stay all day outside and yet you go home with clean face. Unlike here in Manila, you stay 30 minutes outside and you wipe your face with a tissue and you'll get dirt all over. Women there look young and fresh all day, surely there is no need for anti wrinkle creams that work because they all look nice!

But still, there is no place like home, to be surrounded with the people you love, it's more than breathing a clean air. Though I still hope for Manila to become like Singapore someday.

Anyways, we're back and we're back with our regular activities. I have hundreds of pictures and uploading will take sometime. Unpacking and cleaning up comes first.

So yes, it's good to be HOME.

In HIS hands

We are still here in SG, the above pictures were taken from the Conference which ended last Saturday. And as what I have said in my FB page, we were both renewed and refreshed. I am praising God He allowed us to attend the conference and be here in Singapore, we have not been spending time alone and with each other since January (or even late last year) and we know as a couple we needed this. Time out for everything-from work and from ministry.

Honestly, I did bring a resume and I somehow thought of looking for a job here but things look different when you're here already, for us to live a okay life here, we have to both work and for my husband to get a decent job, he would still need further studies, like an online business degree or anything about graphic design. Though I know taking an online business degree is very unlikely for him.

But then again, we both know in our heart that he was not called for such. So for now, we will still continue what we are doing in Manila and we will keep on praying for God's direction. And if ever He brings us somewhere someday to work or to do business or as full time missionaries,we will not worry, after all our lives are in HIS hands.

In Singapore

Sorry for there will be few updates for the  next few days because I have no 24 hour access to internet here in Singapore, yup! I am currently in Singapore, YWCA hotel to be exact, together with my husband we are attending a Mission's Conference and from Day 1, it's all worth it. Singapore is an expensive city and for us to be here means more funds, Good thing there is   cash advance payday loan in our company and that I was able to avail it and it helped us.

I do not regret going here though and attending the Conference, hearing from all the speakers is like hearing straight from the lord and we both needed that.

Anyways, I won't be long but as soon as I have free time and internet access. I'll be updating.

Have a nice day everyone!

Sleep, spa and massage: I need you

You won't believe me if I tell you that I am awake for almost 40 hours now. I do not know how my body (and mind) is taking that but still am thankful I have extra energy pouring when I need one and I needed it most now.

We're leaving on Wednesday and we are rushing (cramming or whatever you call it) a lot of things. Printing t-shirts, writing articles, filling up forms plus work has been very demanding since last week.

You can just imagine how my face looks like now. And I know it's bad because  my husband who at least had few hours of sleep is looking so pale..

Good thing I have something to look forward to this week. I hope we can have the rest we need ( and we won't mind an extra massage and spa especially in a backyard spa designs that feels so homey and relaxing.) Or even just a foot spa will do. It's been ages since I had it. Little pleasures..I wish I could have them every so often.

Renters Insurance

Do you have insurance for your home? I guess most of those who owned a house especially those big and pricey houses have them insured from one of the many home insurance companies in town. It is but right to feel protected after all it’s your hard earned money invested in that house.

But what if we only rent the house or the condo or the flat we are residing in? Do we need to insure it? or should the landlord take charge of it? And if ever the owner bought insurance for it, would it cover all the stuff inside the house? Like the furniture, appliances and your other valuable belongings?

Not that I do plan to insure the house where we are moving-If I’m right I know it’s already been taken care of by our company because they own it.

I was just wondering if we need renters insurance or if anyone has that type of insurance. It would be nice though because it will cover all your personal belongings and not only the house itself. Good idea.

Bright or dark room?

I love natural day lights. That is why I love our current room where we are staying because during the day, I just open the window curtains and it gives me sunlight. Every morning, my husband will open it for me and it is so refreshing to see the leaves from the tress outside. Don’t you love waking up with the sunlight in your room? Others may not like it but I do. It gives me a clearer perspective for the day.

And I will be missing this room once we moved out in a few weeks more. It’s funny how I get attached to a room even if I only stayed in it for a while.

And though the one we are transferring to has windows and there is also natural light coming in during the day, it is not as big as this one. But I guess that will do.

I remember a friend who abhors light in his room and is a total opposite of me. He will cover all the windows of his room with thick dark color curtains, with window blinds and sometimes he even put a foil in the glass window making his room dark even if it is broad day light. Next time I see him I’ll recommend him blinds from Blinds Chalet because I heard they have the most exceptional and environment friendly blinds.

How about you? What do you prefer? Dark or bright room?

God's best gift ever

Time flies so fast. It's my birthday month already and I am turning a year older next week :) and hopefully wiser.

As I have said before I am not expecting any gift from the husband because of the many expenses we had for the last few months. And I am not bothered at all. I know some who treat it as a big deal, it's as if the husband is obliged to give gift no matter what.

I actually am used to not receiving gifts from my husband (especially those romantic gifts) because when he does give gift he make sure it's something practical, something I can use and will not just wither like expensive flower arrangement or sort of. The only romantic gift I ever got from him was the engagement ring (which for sure is not cubic zirconia rings which looks like the real diamond) during my birthday and months before we got married.

And if I remember it right, in our five years of marriage, he only gave me flowers twice and both were not the pricey ones I tell you.

But that doesn't make me less happy and contented as his wife. Not at all. More than the material gifts this world can give,I am receiving it from him everyday. And for that I'll be forever thankful.

Being married to God's servant means not having all the luxury you want, not eating out on fancy restaurants every weekend, no extravagance surprises on your anniversaries but... you wake up each morning happy and satisfied. You wake up each morning knowing that he loves you more than anything else. You wake up each morning with the assurance that you are the only one he love and will ever love in his whole life.

Guess what? and your guess is as good as mine.

I have GODS' BEST GIFT EVER.

*~*
mushy ako..birthday ko naman at heart's month..hehe..pagbigyan nyo na.
