gift for the husband

With all the love I get from my husband, especially in times when hormones are hitting me so bad that makes me the most unloveliest woman in the whole world- he deserve more than a pat in the back, I think he deserve a real gift. And I hope in time for our wedding anniversary this month I can get him to choose from G shock Watches or the least I can do buy him any brand of watch, I know he'll appreciate it.

But then, with or without a gift, I am assured of his love for me :)

I can't imagine how happy he would be though if he opens a box with any of this inside:)

enjoying timezone

Wala man kaming decent celebration ng aking pinakamamahal na hubby nung anniversary namin, nag enjoy naman kami that day, we ate dinner sa luk yuen and then after that, we played sa timezone, as in super enjoy kami sa pagkuha ng ticket. We were supposed to see a movie pero di namin pareho type ang forbidden kingdom so nag laro na lang kami.

kunwaring bowling...

and that is our price. hehe! very significant ba? blue and yellow-motiff namin nung wedding, 21 of course is the date .

Praying for a cruise?

We didn’t have a decent celebration of our 2nd year wedding anniversary this year, mainly because the date and day that it falls was a Monday and the very first day of Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) in our church where in hubby taught the pre teens class. Another thing is that we are still financially not capable of going out of town at that time as we have already spent for our Ilocos Norte trip last March.

But of course that doesn’t lessen the happiness we felt as we give thanks to God for His 2 years of faithfulness in us. I know someday God will make us celebrate our anniversary in a Christian cruise which we always dreamed of. I can’t imagine me and hubby together with hundreds of believers on a yacht and visiting places that the Apostles Paul has walked on..That would be awesome!

I never knew that there are Christian cruises like this one, Have to share this dream and wish to two of our couple’s friends so we can pray together. And maybe five years or more from now these Christian cruises will be a reality in our married lives. For now, we will keep on praying for the trip to Hongkong and China next year.

50 years ng kasal ang nanay at tatay ko

Exactly 9 days from now, my parents would be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They actually got married 24th of January 1958..and because it falls on a Thursday this year we decided to have their renewal of vows on the 26th since it’s the nearest Saturday.

I really am blessed to see them still together after 50 long years, and I know it is just but proper to give them some sort of celebration, after all not so many couples are given the chance to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. Some go separate ways, others simply don’t reach the old age to celebrate their 50th..So yes, I am grateful that God has gifted my Nanay and Tatay a long life and a long marriage life.

Of course, their marriage is far from perfect..there are times I thought they will also be separated, there were many fights, too many troubles and too many hardships and we’re all part of them..but still, they manage to survive and brought us all up together..I think it’s one clear illustration of how a marriage should be. We,their kids, don’t need to hear it from them anymore..It’s clear that Marriage is a lifetime commitment.

And of course, I am the wedding planner from the ceremony to reception and to what’s gonna happen on that day..ako ang culprit..

We will be all wearing gold gowns J and we bought a gold candle holder for the souvenir and put it in a gold pouch bag, I DIY the invitations,, I accentuated it with gold stickers that I also made my self. Nanay will be wearing a two piece golden gown..simple but I know it will look good on her, she actually liked it when I show her the picture.

It’s not really grand..they will renew their vows on our small Christian church located just beside our home and dinner/reception will be at the front yard of our house.. but still we want to give them the best and we want them to feel special on this day.

We invited old friends of them and some relatives to share with our happiness.

I’ll blog about it right after the wedding.
