It pays to read reviews

I think I lost weight. Not because I took any diet pills or anything, I will not take risk anymore specially that I read a lot of not so good reviews on diet pills, I actually just read this xenadrine reviews and it was kinda informative.

You know what? It pays to read reviews first before deciding right? I do that a lot.

I read reviews of hotels, hostels or inns before I chose and book one.

I read reviews on nice restaurants, cheap restaurants, good food.

I also read reviews of some products I buy.

My husband read a lot of reviews about gadgets and musical instruments especially on guitars.

But back on my losing weight, I just noticed it this week. And hopefully when I weigh (If I would have the guts) it would only prove what I noticed.

Being away from home makes me lose weight. Yey!

The ADT protection

I’m sure every one of us wants to feel protected most of the time, especially when we have kids that are being left at home when we go to work. I’m sure I’ll be a worry rat when I have to do that also. I tend to be a paranoid and hubby knows that. I remember reading a news item one time about a caregiver beating up an old man whom she was supposed to take care of. Good thing the daughter installed home video surveillance and from there she was able to witness all the beatings and maltreatment her father is getting from his caregiver.

I would love to do that also when I do have my own home already.

I already had an experience with ADT home security few years ago, our office which is also our boss home is armed with that kind of security. And I know how safe she feels even when she is out of home most of the time. Money can’t buy sleep they say but it helps you get a decent sleep when you know you are protected so installing ADT is worth it.

Whether for your home or for your business which remind me we have it also now in one of our offices, I guess the bosses wants to monitor their employees also even whey they are not in the office, I’m sure having this is like having an insurance. You feel secured and protected.

But then, nothing can ever surpassed the protection we get knowing that the Lord is always there to protect us.

ma huang?

Honestly, I have never heard of ma huang before and knew nothing about it. I didn’t even know that it is some kind of a diet pill. Thank God for the availability of internet. So I googled it and found these medical facts about ma huang.

Other names : sea ephedrine, ephedra, ephedra alkaloids, sea grape, yellow horse, yellow astringent, joint fir, squaw tea, Mormon tea, popotillo, and teamster's tea.

According to www.drugs.com :

“Because ma huang (ephedra) has been reported to cause serious, even fatal, side effects such as heart attack, stroke, irregular heartbeats, and sudden death, the FDA has recommended that consumers not take ma huang.

The use of ma huang in cultural and traditional settings may differ from concepts accepted by current Western medicine. When considering the use of herbal supplements, consultation with a primary health care professional is advisable. Additionally, consultation with a practitioner trained in the uses of herbal/health supplements may be beneficial, and coordination of treatment among all health care providers involved may be advantageous.

I guess we should all take pre cautions specially in taking diet pills or weight loss supplements. It always pays to be informed.

Should you try colonix?

For those of you who have never heard it, Colonix is a colon cleansing product made by a certain Dr. Natura. I also read that they were the first one to market a colon cleanser like this one.

As far as I know this is not a diet pill but many reviews from the internet said that they lost pounds, maybe because it acts as a cleanser thus it flushes toxins out of our body.

There are lots of colon cleansing products out there right now, if you’re contemplating to take one, I suggest you read all the reviews and facts about it. There are many bad reviews about colonix but then there are good reviews too.

So I guess it all depends on you.
