Moving and repairs

Update on our moving saga:

1. The wall repainting is not done yet. Last week was a busy week for me and the husband and he didn't have the chance to finish it. Almost finish though.

2. We were supposed to move some stuff today.I guess we can do that later , we will just rest and recharge.

3. I haven't checked the place since the first time I went there, I heard a lot of broken stuff and need fixing, the toilet, kitchen faucets, some part of the roof and that is giving me major headache so I have to go and check for my self and see what we can do.

But still, I am thankful I am going to live there for free and that alone is enough reason not to get depressed about all the repairs I have to make.

It's time

Guess what? Something major is happening to us again this week. And If you are a regular visitor of this blog, you would know that we are currently living in the church mission's house at the moment but is moving on to a "temporary-permanent" (at least for a year) place this week. The place is now vacant and Rudolf will start fixing it this week and we are expecting to spend the first night there Sunday or Monday.

It's only February and we are on our 2nd move, but at least this time it will be easier as most of our stuff are still in boxes. But then, even if it i, It is still not a pleasant thing to do. Good thing we do not have yet big furniture to move like leather sofas or couches. Although I've been looking at some modern sofas  in leather sectionals of farrelli.com and I tell you they're all so nice! Wish I could have them all in a big house of mine someday :)

Anyways, transporting the bed and some kitchen appliances will only be the hardest part of the move and I have few friends that offered their help so I guess that wouldn't be much of a problem.

Tomorrow, my husband will go there and start painting the walls but we haven't decided with the color yet. I like a soft green but I love ecru or a very very light yellow too.

I am making my self excited by imagining how our new "home" would look like when we finally settled there. But the adjustment and the work..I don't like it at all.

Moving again

I am readying my self for another big change happening to us next year as we are schedule to leave the current apartment we are renting and move on to wherever we can find a nice but cheaper place. And I say again that CHANGE IS INEVITABLE. I am sure gonna miss this house. Although the surroundings can be noisy at times, like last night when the neighbor partied all night long with loud karaoke machine playing till I guess 2 AM.

But apart from incidents like that, I have learn to love this place, it's very near from my office, from my favorite supermarket and from our church. Plus, it's safe.

But as I have said, change is expected and we are embracing that come February next year. My only prayer is that we could find a place that is quiet and safe but will not cost me my whole month salary. God bless us in our search for our next community.
