One comment we usually get when we have visitors at home is about us not having TV. We have televison set which we bought at a very cheap price 3 years ago but since we just moved to our new place a month ago, we still don’t have cable subscription and without it our TV is useless. I wish we can afford something like bell tv but I don’t think they are available here.
And honestly, we are not so keen in applying cable because for sure that would add up to our monthly bill and besides I don’t think it is a necessity except of course when you have guests who want to watch TV shows.
Good thing I can watch and read news over the internet. I’m still updated.
